The area was beautiful, I enjoyed long walks up the mountain every morning. The host was always available and very accommodating. My partner and I stay in this beautiful place for 2 months. The place and village are beautiful we walked every day around the chulo neighborhood and all the neighbors were well friendly. The nature was lovely, from the waterfall to the birds and horses to the coffeehouses. Pablo and Céline were always attentive, albeit from afar, and we were very grateful for their attention. Turrialba can be accessed by bus from Aquiares and if not, Uber arrives there. It is a very special place and we hope to visit again.

We stayed two nights. The place is very comfortable, has all the necessary equipment to feel at home. We were particularly able to wash and dry the clothes we brought in from the first week of vacation. The host is very cordial and attentive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ana Luisa’s apartment. We spent a bit more than two weeks there including for teleworking, which worked very well. Ana Luisa is very friendly and always helpful. The apartment is well located in a quiet neighborhood with a small park in front and walking distance to supermarkets and some bars/restaurants. It is conveniently located to reach downtown with a 10/20min taxi or bus ride. We can recommend the apartment and would come back again. The apartment also works well with children.

Wonderful location in the heart of Cartago. Walking distance to the Basilica and large fruit and vegetable market. Very clean, secure, with everything you need. We would love to stay again the next time we are in Cartago.

Everything was very nice

We had an outstanding weekend. The house met our expectations. The gardens and the view are wonderful. Very well equipped. Oscar, who received us on the farm, super friendly and collaborating. Very friendly host too. We are hoping that we can return some day.

We loved it! Doug was very friendly and flexible with the time, I really appreciate him because that made our stay more enjoyable and without pressure. In addition, the place is very nice and everything is as shown in the photographs

I went for a weekend and I really liked the place, it is very practical and very central, in addition to being in tower, it feels very private. The pool is on the top floor, and has a great view. The apartment is well equipped and furnished, it is a little smaller than it is perceived in the photos but it was still great and met what I needed. Communication with Pamela was very easy, very friendly and overall everything was perfect! Recommended.

A very quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature, close to attractions such as the Manuel Lagoon, Dota Park, downtown Santa Maria de Dota. The house is spacious and beautiful according to the area. Gsutavo excellent host always friendly and providing timely and clear information.

Great place, spent one quick night. A few notes for future travelers: If you arrive at after dark Waze will take you directly in front of the property. The house number (43) is visible from the road, but it’s tough to see the color of the home. From there you can connect to WiFi to message the host if you don’t have service otherwise. A few keys to manage; have the host show you how each one operates and try them yourself and with her. Great neighborhood to grab a quick bite within walking distance if needed. I will stay here again my next time in Cartago. It’s a pleasant place with a very fair price. Gracias!

What a beautiful place to stay and visit. We really enjoyed our time here, from the multitude of birds, plants and fruit trees, we even got to have a clear day and saw the volcano. The team at Nortico (Alex really made the stay/tour for us and goes above and beyond) are extremely passionate and involved in the process of growing organically farm to table through their family owned and ran business. The farm helps support local and is looking to bring in more visitors and increase the knowledge and tourism in the area, we highly recommend stopping in.

We didn't want to leave the place. The sound of the Río Gato very close to the property was a plus. Being able to enjoy the river and its amazing crystal clear waters. Don Asdrubal, Emmanuel's father gave us a tour of the river and the trails. We were able to extract cane juice with a manual mill. They helped to get what I needed to celebrate my birthday and give me a surprise party. Great hosts. Our dog really enjoyed it. We'll be back!

Very happy with the place! We recommend it. The house is extremely comfortable, clean and the breakfast is perfect! A space for families. The hosts are very nice people and provide excellent service... We hope to come back again!

Amazing place, if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and spend a few days with no routine distractions, this is the place. A 100% recommended property. Always attentive to needs, homemade eggs for breakfast and a cabin for fun.
