Dear Sissy and Thomas, We can't thankyou enough for your hospitality, the conversations, the tips, the amazing cooking skills, the details in 'Il Giardino', everything was amazing! Definitely the best hosts we have ever had and the most amazing place to stay in when you're in Kefalonia. For everyone who is considering Il Giardino, don't think, book! You won't regret a minute! The garden and view on the ocean is amazing! The place is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need and if not Sissy is there to provide it. You don't have any importunity from the airport. The drive to Argostoli is about 10minutes. You do definitely need a rental car if you want to explore Kefalonia and feel free.

Niki is the perfect host and her apartment is beautiful and pristine. She is incredibly responsive and so helpful - checking in at every point to make sure everything was well. She also had some homemade olive oil and wine at the apartment waiting for us when we arrived, and was ever so hospitable the whole way through. The apartment itself is so lovely, perfectly clean, super comfortable, and with all the amenities you’ll need. The area is beautiful and peaceful with a gorgeous view of the mountains. There are adorable cats (whom we grew very fond of and were genuinely sad to say goodbye to!) who greet you every time you arrive or leave. Overall, a perfect experience and I could not recommend Niki or her apartment more to those looking for a quiet and peaceful time in beautiful Lixouri - also so close to the town centre as well as some gorgeous beaches around. Thank you Niki!

What to say, we had a good time The listing matches the photo and description. The house is small but suitable for two people (with parking space) and the location is great for touring Kefalonia. Very close to Argostoli. Dino and his wife were very kind and hospitable, they made us feel at home ! The view from the balcony, breathtaking, beautiful sunsets! I definitely recommend this place to stay!

Loved our stay at Makis’ place in Kefalonia, very close to Argostoli, we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The accommodation was absolutely fantastic—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The attention to detail in every aspect of the property truly made it feel like a home away from home. What made our stay even more memorable was the incredible hospitality of the host and his family. Definitely will come back in this lovely place.
