I had an amazing stay, The cottage had all creature comforts of home, wished I shopped in readiness for cooking on the Webber. It is a perfect setup on the patio with all necessities for cooking and clean up. Attention to details such as insect repellant and citronella candles. There's a comfy couch and TV (not for me) . I perched myself in the study nook with the supplied bluetooth speaker and caught up on some belated tasks on my computer. Surprisingly productive, maybe there was no distraction except for the snoring of my dog (Tucker) at my feet. Capsule coffee machine available which I might have overindulged. I knew it was going to be a pleasant stay when I first arrived, I went to stow my drinks in the fridge to find a couple of chilled glasses waiting for me.

Lis’s house was extremely welcoming and felt like home. Had everything ever required in the kitchen and all of good quality. The property has great views and the pool is an excellent addition. Would love to stay there again if back in the area

We had an amazing time at Tucki Plains. The tiny home is incredibly clean, insanely well equipped and very private and peaceful. Waking up with the beautiful view of the valley was our everyday highlight! Andy was very responsive and incredibly kind, giving us local recommendations for a running track where we could spot Koalas. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to completely unwind!

A Perfect Escape in the Heart of Nature! My stay at The Mill House was unforgettable. Nestled in nature, the peaceful surroundings created the perfect retreat. The renovated Queenslander beautifully blends rustic charm with modern comforts – sipping coffee on the veranda while listening to the birds was a dream. The home was spotlessly clean, with cozy bedrooms, a warm fireplace, and a sunroom that offered treetop views, ideal for relaxing. The location was fantastic – just a short drive to a stunning waterfall and swimming hole, Alstonville’s cafes, beaches and Byron Bay. Beth, the host, was fantastic, provided excellent local recommendations, very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed. The property felt like a true sanctuary with ample space to unwind. If you're seeking a private, nature-filled escape, I highly recommend The Mill House. I’ll definitely be back for another stay!
