Vacation rentals with a kayak in Touraine

Jane was very helpful and communicative as our host. The house and gardens were beautiful, spacious and well appointed. Loved the pool and hot tub. The immediate setting was green and peaceful with the river at the bottom of the garden. Thouars itself is clearly undergoing improvements to revive the town centre but it has everything you need and there are some good restaurants. The weekly markets had a wonderful selection of local produce and the market hall was open most days. A couple of good bakeries in walking distance from the house. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Small stay with friends in this beautiful house nicely decorated and equipped with all the essentials. The hosts were always responsive and they were able to give us flexibility on the last day for checkout, so we thank them for that.

Marisa is a very friendly host! Her cottage is ideal for a week with the family: everything is there for the children, very clean and bedding of very good quality! This cottage is a haven of peace in the middle of the many castles to visit. I highly recommend it!

Very pleasant, relaxing and very natural atypical accommodation. We wanted to recharge and it was totally the case. James and Sylvie were admirable and attentive to us. We were able to chat for a long time and in a friendly manner!! If you want a pure moment of happiness, go there without hesitation.

We just spent a few days of rest and beautiful visits at Grégoire's a very welcoming and available host. We particularly enjoyed the private tour of the chatelet thank you very much as well as the proximity of many castles. Recommended!

Lovely place in gorgeous surroundings. The hosts couldn't be more helpful. Everything was as described and more. We truly appreciated and enjoyed everything and hope to be back.

Ideal cottage to reunite a family

We stayed as a group of 6 and had a fantastic time! Cedric was very friendly and helpful throughout, especially when welcoming us in at the start of our stay and showing us around, in very good English. There was loads of space in the charming house for us, we loved the homey feel and the gorgeous surroundings, especially the river view, which was even better from the included kayaks! We enjoyed the pool every day, and barbequeued and ate out on the lovely terrace every evening. The bikes were great for getting into Chatellerault for the extra people who couldn't fit in the car, much recommended over walking it! We really felt we benefitted from the house having been lived in before, all the little details were well thought through, particularly in the kitchen everything was very well catered for and nicely laid out.

Quite a magical place! A very nice discovery and many activities to do on site. Great for family healing.

We needed somewhere to rest and catchup with each other having very stressful work lives , this location and accommodation was ideal as it was peaceful yet still close to busy areas if needed

Very nice stay, the cottage is very nice, spacious and very well-equipped. The cycling routes are easily accessible and very well indicated, to visit the sites around. We loved the walk to Chambord Castle! The setting is beautiful, we had a great week.
