Monthly Rentals in Toucari Bay

One word: amazing! If you are looking for something completely different than what you probably normally used to, this is it! The treehouse is completely private (quite high in the mountain) and looks over the ocean with parts of green scenery! The open “windows” give a camping feeling, even more when cooking your own food on the kitchen. During night time you hear the calming sound of nature m. The accommodation is very well prepared: kitchen: fridge, cutlery, pots/pans/wine opener/ trash bags etc Bathroom: towels/soap/wet wipes etc Bed: nice pillows / with anti mosquito net (a bit int he tiny side for me (I’m 1.9m tall) Overal: wifi/lighting/games/power outlets (eu/uk and universal) We loved every minute of being there and would do it again without a doubt. Make sure to arrive with a suv 4x4 as the road up is a bit challenging. Arrival at night might be scary because the road isn’t lit.

I enjoyed how the building had a unique construction design. I would like my build in Dominica to have similar design. The stair casing and design inside was awesome. The high ceilings, very nice. I loved the bathrooms, the design, the spacing along with a big laundry room with ironing board. I love the big balcony and the ocean view. Clean, desirable and comfortable.

Our stay at the Mango Lodge was amazing! The house was spotless and perfect for us. The balcony was enjoyable both in the morning for our breakfast and in the evening to watch the incredible sunset and enjoy our supper and an evening beverage. The location of the house is ideal. You are up the hill a bit from the little village of Toucari, but can easily walk down to Derek’s, “Keeping it Real” restaurant where you will find great food, delightful people and a spectacular views. We were able to explore the whole Northwest region using Mango Lodge as our base -we can’t recommend it enough. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Dominica.

This is a treehouse in a natural paradise! The views are breathtaking and a great way to unplug from city life. The town is small and with minimal services - rely on Caso, the house manager, for guided snorkeling boat trips. His daughter Alisha makes a solid dinner too. Better than options in the small town. Be sure to follow Andy and Kate’s instructions to spray the bed with bug spray before you go to bed, so you don’t get eaten alive at night!
