I had a truly fantastic stay with Ron and Sarah. The cottage itself was just incredible, built by Ron, and his work is amazing. Everything you would need as a guest is there; fully equipped kitchen, plenty of relaxing space, comfy bed and I think the fact it even has aircon is incredible. Plenty of windows as well, with bug screens so you can get a nice airflow through. Unbelievable views all round the property, the veranda out the back is an amazing place to sit with a cold beer after a day out and about! I cannot speak highly enough of Ron as a host. Absolutely incredible gent, so welcoming and friendly to chat with. He gave me so many fantastic recommendations to do in the local area and lent me a bike to do an incredible cycle in the local area. Nothing was too much and he would always be lovely and chatty when I saw him around the property. I wish I could have stayed for more than just 2 nights and would definitely love to return again!

Rita and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Residence. It was easy to find, just a short walk from the main street, and close to all of Tumbarumba's amenities. It was easy to get inside. On arrival, we found the place spotless, and we had everything we needed for a few days of mountain biking. The bed was comfortable. It felt just like our own mattress at home. The air-conditioning worked very efficiently to keep the whole place at a comfortable temperature even though there were heatwave conditions outside. The kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome shower in the bathroom enabled us to easily wash away the dust and grime after hard days of riding. We highly recommend staying at Tumba Cottages.

Thomas's place was delightful. Plenty of space. Private. Serene. Great having a cellar door right on our doorstep. Had a lovely wine tasting just after arrival.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at Marja and Tony’s cozy cottage located on their farm next to their house. Perfect get-away for us and our dog Otis who had a lovely time in the private little garden belonging to the cottage. Loved the cottage with its modern bathroom and a wood heater in case it gets a bit cool at night. Nice walking through their property to the creek , we even threw in a fishing line. Great area to explore the Upper Murray from, close to Cooryong and walking. distance to the Cudgewa pub which only opens on Fridays. Leave your high heels behind to enjoy the rural loveliness and country hospitality . A couple of horses that enjoyed an apple or two and plenty of cows complete the picture . Marja, Tony and their lovely hounds are there if you need them and at the same time it feels private enough. Lovely place to stargaze and look at the Southern Cross and Milky Way from the cottage garden .
