Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Tokamachi

The perfect location is a few minutes walk to the ski lift station.You can use the parking lot on the lift landing, which is very convenient.The interior was cozy, and our family was only for two nights, but I think you can enjoy a long stay.

I used it for a ski trip with friends.We had a very enjoyable and fulfilling time thanks to the host's dedicated preparation. It was especially helpful because I had an elementary school child, and I was able to let them play with the many toys provided in the room the whole time. They spoke directly to me when I checked in and checked out, and handled things very politely. Thanks to you, we were able to make unforgettable wonderful memories.I'd love to stay again if I get the chance, and I'd like to recommend it to other friends. Private, peaceful, pet friendly lodging with good amenities, including a V60 for coffee. Accessible to Niigata landmarks, like the Dragondola and the Veranda. definitely worth revisiting in ski season!

We would absolutely stay here again. The host and his family are lovely people; we enjoyed getting to know them a bit. The host helped us coordinate the logistics of our stay, always offering recommendations and making bookings for us. The house and property are gorgeous, clean, well-decorated. Such a relaxing place to come home to. Some days we didn’t want to leave and just stayed at the property. We loved the sauna, which offers amazing mountain views. The beds are cozy. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, condiments and seasonings. A note: You would ideally want to have a car if you stay here. We did not realize we needed a international driver’s permit to rent a car in Japan (we’re from the USA) so we ended up taking expensive taxis to get around the Shinano area. It’s do-able but not without pre-booking rides and at a steep cost.

This house was very spacious with plenty of seating and bedding. We wished we could have stayed longer! Heads up: The g maps directions from Naoetsu Station were a little tricky the first time - don’t take the shortest route. Take the second shortest route.

It was very close to Lake Nojiri and Kurohime Kogen. It is a cabin in nature, so there are many mosquitoes and other insects, but it has been woven.If you take good measures, there is no problem. I was able to walk around the cabin with my dog, and there were many other facilities that were pet-friendly, which was good. For example, pleasure boats, Kurohime Kogen Flower Garden, and Chibiko Ninja Village.It was nice to have a dog run in Kurohime Kogen. There is also a local supermarket less than a 10-minute drive away, so you can buy food and drink, there are restaurants, you can relax at home, and enjoy the local flavors outside. It was a trip with 5 people and a medium-sized dog, including an elderly mother and elementary school students, but we had a very good time.

Very nice home, konbini and grocery store right next to the unit. Host had very clear instructions and unit was easy to find.

It was all very fun as an experience.I got to the accommodation by car in the snow, and I experienced both, but it was a great memory. There were also changes, but the owner was kind and flexible in making arrangements, and I was very grateful. The worldview of the inn itself is also lovely.Thank you

Great place for anyone who appreciates a clean, tranquil stay.

It was nice that check-in and check-out were very smooth. It was a little cold in the room. There are also plenty of heating equipment such as kotatsu and a stove, so you can enjoy the gathering again.

The accommodation is large and clean, and the amenities that should be available.

The host was flexible and communicative, and the facility was comfortable, clean, and convenient!

From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The place was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The kitchen/ living space was fantastic!! This cabin is a MUST stay - from the tranquil scenery to the comfortable cabin, it is the perfect stay when you’re looking for a relaxing trip away from the city. We loved the place even before the host assisted us when we were lost our wallet. 10/10 recommend and will be staying here again in the future.

It was a very private space surrounded by trees!We also enjoyed the BBQ.There was snow in front of the parking lot and it was difficult to shovel the snow.

Amazing host, friendly and super responsive. He checked available restaurants and booked seats for us when we had trouble finding an open one! The property is peaceful and gorgeous, and it has all kinds of amenities, way more than a usual Airbnb. Highly recommend and would certainly come again if in the area!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Tani House. The host welcomed us personally and gave us lots of tips for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was always available if we had additional questions or requests. As for the house, although it is an old traditional house, the beautiful renovation makes it so it is very comfortable and offers any facility you may need. It was a joy to spend time in the house and its design. A plus was the river that was perfect for swimming and only a 3 minute walk. It is perfect for exploring both the Yuzawa and the Tokamachi area. Highly recommend staying here.
