Family-friendly vacation rentals in Thunderbolt

Awesome place! It had everything we needed and more. The master suite has a full size bed so if you’re use to sleeping in a king, prepare yourself lol. The amenities were awesome. The kitchen had everything down to a crockpot so we made plenty of meals. The bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of towels. The closets were stocked with plush blankets and every room had a smart TV. The TV’s are all Roku’s so you have to stand pretty close to the TV’s in order for the remote to work. If you have experience with Roku TV’s, you know what I mean. (: We also appreciated that the complex had luggage carts! Huge help for groceries. Definitely check out the indoor pool and arcade area in building 3! As for Hilton Head, it was a very chill and quiet town. There’s not a million things to do but there’s a pretty cool indoor karting place that has axe throwing and bowling! Definitely something worth checking out! It’s called Indy Karting & Amusement.

We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at Brendan and Monique’s place. The apartment was cozy and clean and had a wonderful atmosphere for the holiday. It was also a perfect location away from the noise of downtown yet close enough for walking everywhere….parks, restaurants, cafes, grocery store, etc. The area is beautiful and we loved trying some of the local restaurants suggested by our hosts! Honestly, it was hard to leave!! We will be back to visit again, for sure!

We had a great stay! Accommodations were great for our family of 6. Very clean, good amenities. The weather was pretty iffy during our stay so the kids were able to take advantage of the indoor pool, game room, and workout room. The walk to the beach was easy and stores and restaurants al very accessible. Thanks, Cindy, for a great stay!

Wonderful condo with everything needed. Indoor pool and hot tub were a big plus and well maintained. Well stocked kitchen. Prefer to have less clutter in kitchen drawers and decorative items. King bed was very comfortable. Clean and easiest access with parking near back door for unloading. The frosted cranberry hand soap in bathroom was a nice touch. Amazing shower! Gloria was the most responsive and nicest owner we have been hosted by. We enjoyed going to the outdoor bar with food available at the Marriott vacation rentals next to the public beach access! We look forward to renting from Gloria again. Had a fantastic time during the holidays there. Island Life bike rentals were fantastic to work with too.

We had a blast staying here during our stay in Tybee Island. Jenny and team were extremely responsive and helpful. We loved every part of the home.

We really enjoyed this unit. Super clean and welcoming. Our kidos loved the bunk beds! The theme is so cute and fun seeing the very birds on the art work while walking to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and ready for easing into home away from home. The beds are really comfortable and welcomed much needed sleep. The sofa is the most comfortable we have had in all our air bnbs leaving us to enjoy a Christmas movie family night on a rainy day. I Highly recommend this home!

This villa was clean, cozy, and inviting, and matched the description. The resort was great and my family loved it! The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, responding quickly to messages. They made the process smooth! I would definitely book with the hosts again and would love to return to this villa!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming Savannah townhouse! My wife, Christina, and I, along with our English Bulldog, Dini, absolutely loved the cozy and inviting space. The home was thoughtfully decorated and perfectly clean, with all the amenities we could ask for. The highlight for us was the lovely courtyard in the back—a peaceful and private spot where we could relax after exploring the historic streets of Savannah. Dini especially enjoyed sniffing around and lounging in the courtyard, which felt like a little oasis. The location was fantastic, close to all the sights and restaurants we wanted to visit, yet tucked away enough to be quiet and restful. Communication with our host was seamless, and they went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this townhouse to anyone visiting Savannah, whether for a romantic getaway or with a furry friend in tow!

This was a lovely little find. Very cosy and Joyce is a great responsive host and also gave us lots of recommendations. The bed was super comfy and lovely fluffy towels too! Good location. Walk 4 mins to the right when you come out of the house to Drayton, turn right, cross over and keep walking, you will get to Forsyth Park within a few minutes, from there you can walk straight into the historic part of Savannah. What a great house to stay in if you are heading to Hilton Head. Took my family of 4 and 2 dogs to Hilton Head for a week for New Year’s 2025 and we could not be happier with our choice. The house was fully supplied with everything we needed and was just a short walk to the beach. We loved playing pool, ping pong and hanging out in the screened porch. The dogs also enjoyed the beach, screened porch and the fenced in area in the back. Plenty of places and things to do in the area. Super Host Marina was very responsive and provided clear checkin and checkout instructions.

Two of our friends had just gotten engaged and one of them had to fly home to South Africa today so we wanted to do something special for her last night in GA, and Tybee Island was the perfect spot to do that! It was definitely cold but going during the off season was such a unique experience! We got to explore the shops without any crowds, and sing karaoke with the locals at a bar in town. Matthew’s home was the PERFECT stay for our night. Amazing location, beautiful private backyard for my golden retriever to run around, and my friends loved that the bunk room made them feel like they were at an old vacation home from their childhood. We were so thankful this spot was available last minute and Matthew was so quick to respond to my questions! We already are planning to return for a longer weekend in the summer!

Beautiful home on a quiet street. Easy (and pretty) walk to everything. Very comfy beds, plenty of towels, great place to relax and enjoy friends, huge kitchen with everything you need. Could only get one fireplace to work, but otherwise all was good.

If you're staying in Savannah with a larger group of people (8 adults, 2 kids, plus dogs!), this is the spot! The house was very spacious and had everything you could need. Very clean and comfortable. Stocked with all the essentials! The backyard was perfect for the dogs and the front porch was truly a little slice of heaven. The dining space with the big bay windows is just stunning. The location is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Ample parking as there are reserved spots behind the house and we had no issue with street parking out front. If you enjoy walking, there is no reason to move your car until after you check out. You can walk everywhere! Forsyth Park is right there and is so lovely to walk around. Downtown and the historic district are just a little bit past that as well. There is even a Kroger a block away! I can not recommend Stephanie's house enough!

We loved the cottage! We had three different sets of family, friends stay with us over 10 days and they loved it also. We would come back and the others said they would too.

This eclectic house is perfect for a big group. The communal areas were sufficient for hosting everyone, and the bedrooms provided privacy and separation. The best part were the plentiful bathrooms which made getting ready easy for our big group. Everything was clean upon arrival. The laundry and kitchen were well stocked and we had no issues making a variety of meals. The host was responsive, accommodating our check in/out times and helping us reclaim some left behind items. Fitting 2 cars at the house would be snug if you have an SUV. But there wasn't an issue with street parking. The house is walkable, but being in a prime location comes with street noise. That coupled with light coming into the bedrooms made it hard to sleep in, so I recommend that travelers pack ear plugs and eyemasks. One other thing that will simply require patience, is the door lock on the front door. It would take each of us multiple tries to get it open.

I was so excited for our stay in Savannah, and the town and property did not disappoint! They kept all the original 1838 features of the home, which was so spacious. On site parking was a huge bonus, although the bus route was only a block away. The location could not have been more perfect. Two misses for us, was the size/location of the fridge - you basically had to sit on the floor to access it, and it was very small. It held less than you would think, so a daily trip to the store was required. Also the coded gate was EXTREMELY CUMBERSOME, when the light doesn't work above it, and you also needed the code to get OUT. Inconvenient if going to your car to retrieve something, or if there was a fire. Those were the only negatives, otherwise everything else exceeded our expectations and we would stay here again as the location was perfect for feeling like a local.

We had a wonderful time staying at Pamela’s place with our family of 5! The location was great- tucked away but close to everything we needed by walking or biking. The house is super cute and thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable- even better than the pictures. The pool was awesome- just the right size for our kids and we appreciated the shallow end for our littlest one. We’d come back here in a heartbeat! Also don’t miss getting ice cream at The Ice Cream Cone near Coligny! So good!

Beautiful and spacious home in a wonderful neighborhood. We were there for a wedding at Harborside and the home was perfect. Beautiful views and quiet neighborhood.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Karen’s house. She was very easy to work with and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Very responsive to our questions. We were in town to visit family, so didn’t spend a lot of time at the house, but it was lovely, in a quiet neighborhood and we slept great. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, dishes & pots & pans, which helped as we prepared side dishes to take for our Thanksgiving dinner at my brother’s. I loved that the kitchen was large enough for 5 of us to work together during meal prep. Would highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩

The house was perfect for our large family! It had plenty of bathrooms (and hot water) for quick and easy clean up of the little ones after long days at the beach and on the water. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe! Lots to do in the area all within minutes of the house. The whole family enjoyed the swimming pool. The location offered easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. Tracy was wonderful and easy to contact. I’d definitely pick this home again if ever in the area!

Loved the location and the place was perfect for what we needed. We had a small complication for check in and receiving the code to get in but once we contacted them they fixed the problem. Our AC unit broke and they sent someone over immediately and it was fixed within the hour. Other than that no other problems! Would definitely rent from this location again.

We had a wonderful stay. Property was in a great location and had everything we needed. Some items that were available but not on the listing were, pool towels, 2 baby gates, a pack-n-play and a disassembled crib. It would have been helpful to know that ahead of time as we had 3 young children, so perhaps those can be added to listing. Pool was only about waist deep so not really adult swim friendly but great for cooling off and for the kiddos. Would stay again.

Having things for our baby made our stay so easy and enjoyable! We cannot say enough how nice this airbnb is especially if you’re traveling with infants!
