House vacation rentals in Thomas

Reservation, checkin and checkout were smooth. The unit is bigger than it appears in the pictures with a good sized living/dining/kitchen that is open plan and nice sized bedrooms upstairs. The WiFi worked well and there is a TV in the living room and every bedroom. If you want a more analog experience, a few TVs have VCRs and there is a wide selection of family friendly VHS tapes.

Our group of 7 traveled to WV to ski. Almost Heaven was the perfect location and space! It was very close to Timberline and Canaan resorts. It was also not far from Davis and Thomas - shops, restaurants, breweries, distillery, etc. The sectional couch was great because we all fit! The upstairs den area allowed for separation if needed. We didn't use the hot tub but it would have been fun to sit out there surrounded by snow! We had no problems getting in and the host was always responsive. We hope to return.

I spent 4 nights at Meadow View and it was a perfect place to call home. The house is clean, peaceful, and comfortable. A very well stocked kitchen has lots of pans, utensils, plates, silverware and the like. The views surrounding the house are idyllic and lovely. Although winter inhibited me, Meadow View is a great location to enjoy outdoor adventures like Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area or to sit on the deck and catch up on your reading. We really enjoyed staying at this Air BnB, especially since we were permitted to have a dog there. We enjoyed how close it is to Canaan Valley Ski Resort, Blackwater Falls State Park and Davis, WV. The beds were comfortable and accommodations were as expected.

Excellent location in Davis with parking for both our SUV'S. House has excellent layout and kitchen had so many amenities for cooking, great internet service and the host is super helpful. Very clean and beautiful home, and close to ski resorts.

5 star stay here in Davis. The space is beautiful and spacious end unit townhouses on two levels. The hot tub was brand new and water was pristine. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. There is a lovely community space a few feet away with playground, pool and lake. I would highly recommend this place

Emily and Jon-Michael were great hosts. They provided great guidance on what to expect and answered our questions promptly, both before the trip and while we were there. They also were quick to address minor things that cropped up. The house itself was perfect for our Thankgiving trip, offering a clean, well-stocked kitchen; a big dining room table; lots of places to curl up and relax; and comfy places to sleep. The kids also loved the hot tub! We'd gladly go back.

My weekend stay at the lake side house was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the lake access with a dock. We spent our days fishing and managed to catch over 20 fish - it was such a fun and relaxing experience. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. This is a great spot for a visit to Timberline, Dolly Sods, etc. Beautiful, clean, well-designed home among beautiful views. The space was comfortable for a larger group, with space for adults and kids to hang out (and with games/books for kids tucked away in a closet). Great location/super convenient for skiing at Timberline. Just read carefully - 4WD/AWD required in winter for the road up to the house.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Leslie’s Canaan Valley Ski Retreat, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! The house was incredibly comfortable and perfectly equipped for our needs. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to the ski slopes, making it super convenient for our winter adventures. This was the perfect place for our weekend stay. The house is cozy and well stocked, with restaurants, shops, and a grocery store just a short walk away. Heather provided very complete information before we arrived, and there were lots of brochures and books with information about the local area. Shannon’s place in rural Eglon is an incredible gem! The house is spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views. Our dog loved exploring the property with us. We’ve never seen such an impressive DVD collection :) It’s a short drive to Oakland MD, Thomas, Davis, and lots of nature. Shannon is a very generous and warm host, and she was highly responsive even in the midst of winter weather. Highly recommend!

Christina's home met all our needs. We appreciated the location which was close to both ski areas with a market and restaurants nearby. The home was comfortable and accommodating, a great find for our weekend ski vacation!

This place is awesome for rest and relaxation. So big and so many rooms, all family members can enjoy themselves. Kitchen well stocked, room for kids to play outside. Just a lovely home. You must go to town and interact with the people of Franklin, WV, 12 miles down the road. The friendliest people in America.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this home. Everything is of high quality and the kitchen is very well equipped. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with plenty of wildlife to view. Would definitely stay here again!

My family travelled to Davis/Thomas area for our mother's memorial service. This house was actually right across the street from where my grandparent's house once stood and we knew the woman who lived there when we were youngsters. The house was unique and cozy with very comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a nice place to stay, it has a very nice view and easy access to the main road. It also had good size parking for all vehicles which we usually struggle with. We also got a quick response to a concern we had. And Even tho our trip was cut short we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely recommend staying here.

The family owned “lodge” was perfect for our stay; spacious, clean, quiet, and well laid out for times together or when private time is desired. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed to eat in. Several restaurants nearby: the town of Thomas had unique stores & galleries. Davis, WV had a nice, established brewery. Skiing, sledding, tubing, disc golf activities nearby. Brandie (owner) was very helpful & responsive when questions arose. Great place for families, etc. Highly recommend when visiting the area.

Anyone that’s looking for a very spacious airbnb in a private area, book with Vince! He was the absolute best! Everything was in immaculate condition just as expected. He was so responsive with any questions or concerns we had and made sure that we had everything we needed! He also provided local recommendations on food and drinks! I will always recommend this area and host to anyone looking for a home away from home! We will for sure be back in the future!

Alexandra was very thorough with her instructions, I wish every host sent check in videos. As others have stated, The home is old, but so quaint and cozy. The neighbors were very friendly and the water pressure was great. Nearby Cool Springs was such a little gem of a store/restaurant.

This place surpassed our expectations. The house was more spacious than it looked online. There’s hiking, skiing, and fishing in the area. There’s a farm behind the house and they run a petting zoo in the warmer months. It would be great for kids and animal lovers. My wife loved waking up to watch the cows and mini horses while drinking coffee. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, but the kitchen is very nice with all the basics. We recommend this place and would love to stay here again!
