Monthly Rentals in Templand

Had a wonderful Christmas break at this lovely house in the peaceful village of Hightae. Very much a home from home, well equipped and comfortable. We've had several repeat visits and hope to be back again soon. John the host is always very responsive and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay with our family and two dogs. Lovely big walled garden for the dogs and children to run around in. This is the best air BnB we have ever stayed in in terms of kitchen utensils, pots, pans. Everything you could need for cooking for a large family. The beds are so comfortable with cozy duvets. So much room in the house for everyone to spread out and no one felt on top of one another. And the stars at night wow! Overall an amazing holiday. So many cool walks in the region and Lockerbie is only a 10 minute drive to lots of fun shops. Especially recommend the antique shop. Plus a large Tesco for any shopping needs. We look forward to being able to visit again!

We stayed here in 2024 and decided to come back this year. We have family in Glasgow so it is a great stop for us on the way up from Yorkshire. The place is spotless and Joanne is super helpful. Though it’s very close to the motorway, don’t be fooled. It’s incredibly peaceful, which is why we came back. A great break away from busy lives. 2 gorgeous little Border terriers who came to say hello too ☺️

Location location location!! This place has it, peaceful, quiet and surrounded by natural beauty, it’s the ultimate Scottish getaway. The minute you walk in the door it feels like home and you never want to leave it’s that nice. Cozy but extremely well appointed it feels comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don’t. This is what an Airbnb should feel like. Will definitely return again.
