House vacation rentals in Tata Beach

We had a wonderful weekend with extended family, there was plenty of space for all our 9 quests. 8 adults and 1 infant. There are so many different spaces to chill out or to be together, sadly too cold for the pool but maybe next time. The house had everything you need and it made our stay so easy. Thanks again

A Magical Stay in Nelson! We had the most wonderful stay at Brenda’s place in Nelson. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed—the home is incredibly clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished. The lovely gardens added to the charm, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Brenda went above and beyond as a host, even surprising us with some thoughtful treats that made our stay extra special. Our family absolutely loved everything about the house, and its location was perfect—close to the beach, airport, cafes, bars, markets, and the city. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you, Brenda, for an unforgettable experience!

An amazing place to stay with our whānau. We loved the entire house and would definitely look to stay again. Everything was high spec and we really didn’t have any need to leave. Pool was heated, spa was good on the cooler days and we had so much fun.

Great 1950s style beach bach. Stunning location. The perfect place for a winter or summer family holiday. Loved the spacious living areas indoors and outdoors - it easily accommodated youngsters playing, to parents and grandparents relaxing, altogether. Lots of games and books for all ages. We loved using the kayaks on the inlet.

Nicky was a great host, very helpful and responsive. The house is beautifully maintained with lovely furniture and pool with plenty of amenities such as pool toys, great coffee selection, very helpful instructions all around the house. Comfortable beds and couches. The house was very clean with beautiful sliding doors bringing in the cool breeze. The house is 6 minutes from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the beach and parks. There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds in each room which cannot be seperated and there are no sofa beds. Hence the place could be too small for 2 adults and 2 adolescent children. however, Nicky did mention that she could sort an additional bed if requested ahead of time. We would recommend this property to anyone traveling as a couple, family or friends.

Sarah was very accommodating, friendly and helpful, very last minute booking for her but nothing was an issue even a very kind offer of doing a wash for us. The place itself is exactly as described, clean, everything you needed available and there was a space left on the drive to park the car which was great. The area is on a steep hill which was fine for me coming back a run but maybe older generation would struggle car advised.

Our stay was amazing. My son enjoyed the farm and was happy to stay off devices. My favourite was horse riding along the beach. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of travelling with their giant fur baby’s, as you have riding along the beautiful beaches and the paddock Temira offers is unlike any experience I’ve seen on Airbnb. A classic cozy kiwi bach 2 min from the most beautiful safe swimming beach and a short drive to magical Wharariki. Our family had an amazing time.

A really cozy place! Loved the outside patio to enjoy the stay. Also very well equipped and the living room truly feels like home. The recommended hidden gems for visiting the Abel Tasman were a blast as well. Visiting the park from here is super easy.

Very comfortable and tidy home, hosts put the fire on before arriving which was great. Impressive views and large home.

We enjoyed our stay at Saskias place. Very clean, amazing views, great location. Beds were comfortable and shower good. The driveway was a little tricky to navigate at first, but if you are confident with backing then this is definitely the best way down the drive and it gets easier the more you do it.

Superb location and view across the bay, peaceful location which even provided enough entertainment for 3 teens! (with no wifi or TV) Hosts were super responsive, friendly and helpful. Being dropped off to complete the Northern Loop of the Abel Tasman track was a bonus and well worth the 5 hour effort. Highly recommend the property, the location and the many walks nearby!

We loved our stay at Ruby Bay. Vanessa was friendly and helpful. The house was quirky and had everything we needed.

This home was the perfect place to have as a base to explore Golden Bay. The heaters kept the place nicely warm, we enjoyed having 2 spaces with a table (teens watched movies, we played games in kitchen/dining). The sun rose right in front of the house- amazing way to wake each morning. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice being in a home that is used a lot as there were all the home comforts and nothing was missing. We had a 7m bus with us which parked nicely on the flat concrete pad outside the main doors. It was all easy and perfect. Only advice is to move your gear from car to kitchen with the kit hen lights off as we didn't think about this and the bugs around the outside light flew into the kitchen light in the 5 mins we had the door open and we had nothing short of 200 flies in there. They were not big flies and not biting flies. But still not ideal. To remove just leave outside light on and turn inside off and most will fly back out.

Vicki was a wonderful host! The house is right on the water and has the most beautiful views, especially of sunsets. We would definitely stay again, though would note that we did have to watch our toddler carefully to make sure she didn’t go into any of the cupboards marked as private. This is likely not an issue for most people, who presumably have more self control than a 2 year old! :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Mike’s place. The living space and bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. It was a great base from which we could explore Nelson. Mike was very responsive when we reached out, too.

Lovely stay at Ina’s house. We had everything we needed, good chill out space when it was raining and a lovely garden with plenty to do. Close to Richmond centre and convenient for playing tennis at Richmond tennis club. A very homely home!

Wow what a house and location! We had the best stay. The house is in the most peaceful place with incredible views, wild daisies, friendly weka, and an outside hanging swing chair perfect for reading in. Inside is just awesome. Full of everything you need for a stay, including books galore, a fireplace, kids toys including heaps of lego and a retro Nintendo which was lots of fun for the kids upstairs. Comfy beds and the kitchen has everything you need and some. Victoria was the absolute best host. She was helpful, friendly and responsive. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, we will definitely be back and will be recommending to our friends 😊
