A beautiful cabin, close to town but far enough into the country to feel like you’re own little world. Their dog was absolutely adorable and clever, she will want to play fetch as long as your shoulder can hold up!

This bach was amazing. It was so well provisioned from the yummy brownies waiting for us to all the extras you might need for cooking. There wasn't a thing missing - there was even a double-boiler! The location was perfect, so near a beautiful beach. Best of all it has kept the character of a real Kiwi bach. Don't change a thing Josie and Graeme.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, ensuring that every need was met with genuine care. If you're looking for a serene getaway with unparalleled natural beauty and exceptional comfort, this cabin is an absolute gem. I can't recommend it highly enough!

We had a wonderful time at Katherine’s place. The Pavilion is such a nice place, it is spacious and the terrace is huge, we could have spent our entire stay right there watching the cows, sheep and goats on the beautiful premises. Katherine is an excellent host, super friendly and full of helpful advice when needed. The place is quiet and peaceful, but in a few minutes you can drive to Dargaville to do your shopping. The beach at Glinks Gully is a short car ride away, and if you want to avoid the dirt road there is Baylys Beach just behind Dargaville. Overall we highly recommend Katherine’s place.
