What an absolutely stunning property. I only wish we weren't using it for a business trip, we would have had much more time to enjoy the endless luxuries that are bestowed upon thee. As a heavy user of Airbnb's, I highly recommend this property. Jun is a great host, very responsive with great communications.

Great location for our needs, rowing regatta. Close to lake and town for dinners. Nice and clean, tidy and well presented.

My family very much enjoyed our night at Rachael's place. The kids spent hours in the pool and we had a bbq in the lovely outdoor space. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. My bed was comfy with nice bed linen etc. I especially enjoyed using the beautiful bathtub. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. We'd be happy to stay there again

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

Easy to work with the landlady as we were a very late notice booking, and very accommodating for extension if required. Highly recommended.

This is one of the most lovely locations we have ever stayed. The house is so well appointed- everything you need in the kitchen and beyond. The house is older and has a couple of quirks but they are actually endearing. We had fresh- squeezed orange juice with our breakfast using oranges from a tree in the yard. If you crave country life- this place is for you!

I booked Cindy's place for my family who traveled from Whakatane. They said they felt extremely spoilt as the place was modern, clean and very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable with clean fresh linen, The modern facilities and additional touches made them feel pampered and in a luxurious home. Their 5 year old loved the plush toys and child friendly activities that Cindy made available. Thank you Cindy for providing a wonderful home for my family to stay in. We highly recommend Cindy's place and have no hesitation in booking again in future

We felt completely at home at Louise and Mario’s Bay View Beach Retreat! The house was beautifully and tastefully furnished—so cozy and inviting. Everything we could possibly need was there, from yoga mats to a cooler for the beach. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, allowing our daughter to bake her favorite cookies for her birthday. A special highlight was the selection of local treats that Louise and Mario provided. We loved them so much that we stocked up on delicious Raglan Roast coffee and sourdough bread for the rest of our journey. The location, the stunning water views—everything was simply perfect. We left feeling completely refreshed and truly grateful. Thank you both so much! We also hope we sorted and disposed of the rubbish correctly! 😉 We really would have liked to stay for much longer… hopefully next time!! 😉

Greeting with a warm welcome - a lovely little private hideaway, yet close to golf course, Waterworld and surrounding cafes / restaurants.

Mary-Ellen's place was wonderful! The place was in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, very close to the town centre. The house itself was extremely nice and cosy. We stayed there for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it! Would highly recommend Mary-Ellen's place if you're in town visiting!

Excellent place to stay for a group, the separate dwellings is a bonus, easy access to walkway 10 min walk to town. Would stay again no problems. Awesome host, great communication.

This is a warm inviting home to stay in. Everything needed was there. In particular, the blue information book provided by the host is excellent - it provides clear, easy instructions on everything you need to know. Highly recommend for a quiet peaceful place to unwind!

This is a mansion in a very quiet neighborhood.

Perfect location for where we needed to be. Very walkable 10 minute walk to town. There is a dairy a 1 minute walk across the road. Could get very hot in summer as no A/C in bedrooms, however we were comfortable enough at night and just used the A/C in lounge during the day.

Incredible location with an oceanfront view of the surf at Whale and sunrise and sunsets. Just a few steps out the back gate to paddle out at either Whale or Indies surf spots. Large decks and beautiful landscaping. The wood stove was great to take the chill off at night. Would definitely stay here again.
