Vacation rentals with lake access in Tahoe City

Our stay at Carnelian Bay was fantastic. Ryan made us feel right at home with Christmas trees and presents for the kids. His communication was prompt and on point, He answered all of our questions and concerns during our entire stay. The house is beautiful and well kept with an amazing view. It was well stocked with everything we needed for a two week stay during Christmas and New Years. We truly enjoyed the house and Ryan made the stay smooth and enjoyable.

It was a pleasure to stay at Alice's house. Everything was extremely tidy, well-organized, and her house is well appointed. I especially appreciated the kitchen, it was well-equipped, better than similar rentals. Alice was super responsive and kind. She allowed us to check in early which helped with the weather. The hot tub was an excellent addition. We are repeat visitors to this area, because it is minutes from Royal Gorge, which is a fantastic cross-country ski resort. It is also close to Sugar Bowl for those who downhill.

Incredible 180 degree views of Lake Tahoe in a rustic 1938 built house. Absolutely charming with the necessary upgrades. We enjoyed that the TV was in a room other than the main living space. It will be an experience we will always cherish with kids and grandkids!

We had a family get together to celebrate Christmas and Brian was extremely helpful with providing information about grocery shopping, skiing, rental equipment, etc. He also responded quickly to questions, and kept us updated on weather conditions prior to, and during our stay. The house was beautiful and accommodated 11 of us comfortably, with ample room to spread out and relax, including guests coming to visit. We had an amazing time here and many wonderful memories were made!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is as beautiful as it looks in pictures, with a beautiful view of the lake. It was extremely clean and well stocked with supplies. Linda was a very communicative host and provided clear and detailed instructions for our stay. Would highly recommend!

We had a great Christmas. The house was very cozy and just across the street from the lake. Peter was very responsive and we asked if the house had a Christmas tree, he mentioned that no but he added one and that was veryyy lovely. We have a great time and definitely recommended.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Homewood, CA! The host was incredibly welcoming, communicative, and flexible, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. The home was spotless, cozy, and clean, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful—peaceful and surrounded by stunning scenery, perfect for relaxation or exploration. We truly felt at home here and would love to return for another visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little wonderful getaway!

My family felt very comfortable in Suzanne's condo. There was plenty of room and the amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of the stay was having Suzanne as a host. She was very quick to respond to our questions and gave exact directions to find the condo.

Had a great stay, the host was super accommodating and let us check in a few hours early. The place was clean and had a great kitchen, the beds were comfy, and everything was as described. We got a lot of snow and somebody from the building helped us shovel out the car, which we really appreciated. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Tahoe City

All in all, we had a wonderful time staying here. It was super close to Heavenly for some epic skiing and also close to downtown and stateline for restaurants and entertainment. From the outside, it did feel more like a hotel or an apartment rather than a condo, but the inside had everything we needed for our getaway. Thanks so much! I'd definitely stay here again.

Very cute and cozy 2 bedroom space! Fireplace and hot tub were perfect during our kids’ winter break! About 30 minutes from south lake but that’s not necessary because Tahoe city is so close and has great restaurants! Lake across the street, great walking trail right on the water, right next door to good food and best of all very kind and generous hosts!

Very convenient location, cozy room, and communicative host. The space was exactly as advertised. I would recommend bringing your own cooking basics(there are plates/pots/ect but no salt for example) and toiletries (eg shower was stocked with shampoo and hand soap but not body wash) but the Safeway is very close if you forget anything.

Lovely little house for a family of three. Nice and clean, laundry on site, fully stocked kitchen and a car charger available for us. What's more, the location could NOT be more ideal! The house is within a very short walk of the beach and downtown, including multiple shops and restaurants.

Out of all the Airbnbs/homes/listings we’ve stayed in throughout the last few years of visiting Tahoe, this one was hands down our absolute favorite. It was the perfect amount of space and the layout was awesome. Andrea’s home had a cozy living room to relax in along with a fully stocked kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom were also perfect. Every little touch in the home made it that much better - ring dish at the bedside, mattress heaters, you name it. It was quiet, relaxing, and easily accessible to the town/restaurants and nearby hiking trails. We came for our elopement and she even gave us a local recommendation to commemorate our trip!! So glad we stayed here!!

This place was much bigger than we needed but it allowed pets and that was our main criteria so we could have a long weekend as a family. That said, the place was amazing!! Exactly as pictured and no surprises. Everything was clean but more importantly, everything was comfortable....the upstairs bed had me asleep in minutes. With so many places to sleep, we talked about inviting extended family back some time to skiing at Palisades and staying here... it would be PERFECT! Neighbors are also so very friendly and awesome. Caterina was checking in to make sure we were okay and very responsive to me. Money well spent for a much needed get away to the mountains!

This is the second time we have been lucky enough to stay in this beautiful and peaceful retreat. I cannot speak volumes enough of how wonderful it is. Amazing hosts. Beautiful home. Easy drive to all ski resorts (winter) hiking trails and beautiful Tahoe beaches and scenery yet hidden away in a quiet neighborhood. We feel so lucky to have found this gem!

Great spot! Perfect for working remote and getting some time on the slopes.

You really can't beat this location. Any closer to the lake and you would be on a houseboat. The beach is beautiful, just steps from the front door. It is also just a few minutes from great restaurants and King's Beach. The cabin is cozy and true to the photos. I wish the interior/furniture/kitchen was updated, but the rooms were nice and big and the beds were comfortable. It was awesome to have a sauna with a view of the lake too. The fireplace is nice and helps keep the place warm (tip use the fireplace fan) - we were lucky and it snowed while we were there. We had a question about the heater and someone quickly came over. Very nice and helpful. We will be back. 5/5 recommend!
