Private Guest House.

YanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Maria’s place is extremely clean and beautiful, it looks much more appealing than the pictures show, definitely beyond our expectation. The kitchen, the bathroom have all the stuff we need. The wifi had some issue on the first night, but Maria is super responsive to help us solve the problem. We’ll definitely choose Maria’s place again next time.

Cozy spacious pet friendly sleeps 13 W/ pool table

MicaelaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Gavin and Karla’s place is beautiful! Their place is very open and cozy. We loved the fireplace and we particularly enjoyed the pool and ping pong table upstairs. Our friends had enough space to sleep and hang out and we were 9 people. I would recommend staying here.

Hot Tub Views & Trails 5 Min to Lake & Town

SandyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We took our grands who live in AZ up to the “Tahoe Cabin”. They had a blast playing and sledding nearby for the couple days we stayed. There was absolutely nothing we needed to bring (except for our food). The house as everything else you need! It is Exactly as pictured with comfy furniture and beds, plenty of extra blankets if you needed. The kitchen has dishes and silverware for 10+ people and cookware to make virtually any dish! You will definitely enjoy this house!

EAGLE - MODERN CABIN AT CONSTELLATION CREEK

NicoleRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Wonderful place to unplug and relax. We loved everything especially the record player in the room. We listened to every album. They love dogs and my pooch had so much fun pretending he is a big mountain dog. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the area. It most certainly is rustic but not roughing it. My favorite way to travel. Plus the hot springs are nearby! So much outdoorsy fun to help you feel alive ❤️

Remodeled cabin w/in walking distance to LakeTahoe

ChelseaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved our stay here! This was actually my first experience with an AirBnB… and maybe now my expectations are too high Lol! Space was clean and cozy, with so many amenities! Completely furnished kitchen, with even some spices and olive oil available. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower (for those of us who forgot ours), and even board games and books! The yard was perfect for snowmen, and the walk to the lake, restaurants, and shops was quick and easy. I wish we had stayed here more than 2 days! Will have to book a week in the summer. Thank you Angie for the prompt communications, and it was so easy to check in! We will treasure our time here forever.

Gerald’s place was so comfortable and cozy. They made us feel right at home and were extremely easy to work and communicate with. The cabin is close to great food and things to do, but it was also so relaxing to light a fire and watch the snow fall. We would absolutely love to visit again.

Hot tub with a Mountain View, garage, EV, pets

AllisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I’m so glad I found this home on Airbnb and can’t recommend this place enough. It was our first snow trip with our family and everyone loved the house and location! We visited wonderful restaurants and downtown just minutes away, not to mention the beautiful view of the mountains. Hosts were very communicative and check in/out was very straight forward. We noticed some odors near the couch and fridge but they went away after some time. The jacuzzi was incredible although the lightbulb was out. Rooms were spacious and didn’t feel crowded at all with 10 people. We also brought our pup and she absolutely loved the backyard. The house is equipped with so much amenities, games, extra blankets/towels that helped us so much during our trip. Overall we all had such a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

Ranch-HOT lamp TUB-20min Mt. Rose; 30m to Tahoe

DonnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay at Ginny’s place! We had to book last-minute due to a power outage, and she was super-responsive and helpful at getting us the info we needed to make a good decision quickly. The house was squeaky-clean with a great open floor plan and a perfect setup for what we needed. The beds, furniture, towels and whatnot were all very comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen was equipped with absolutely everyone we needed for our stay (and we cooked quite a bit during the week). Overall, we feel quite lucky we were able to book Ginny’s place on such quick notice - and would highly recommend.

Your guide to Reno

All About Reno

For a place that calls itself the Biggest Little City in the World, Reno isn’t all that large. Measuring roughly 100 square miles in Nevada’s high desert, the midsize town punches well above its weight class, with world-class galleries and museums, of-the-moment restaurants, and an entertainment industry that feels quaint compared to Nevada’s other big tourist draw. And it all happens in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

To get your bearings, take a stroll down Reno’s Riverwalk, the heart of downtown, dotted with wine bars, bistros, clothing boutiques, and open spaces perfect for stretching out. Better yet, head to Truckee River Whitewater Park to dip your paddle in Class II rapids. For even more fun on the water, the glistening shores of Lake Tahoe are less than an hour away. One of the biggest and most beautiful lakes in the United States, Tahoe attracts visitors year-round to its sandy beaches and iconic ski resorts.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Reno

The Reno-Lake Tahoe region becomes a hub for skiing, snowboarding, and other cold-weather sports during the winter months. As the snow melts, the lush greenery and beautiful foliage take center stage. Spring is a great time to visit as the crowds have thinned out, making it easier to get vacation rentals in Reno. With so many warm-weather outdoor activities on offer in the late spring and summer, the city takes on a vibrant energy as people rush in to enjoy the hiking, paddling, and biking in the area.

A calmer atmosphere settles in during fall, making it an excellent time to explore Reno's rich nature as the leaves change from emerald green to a sea of red, orange, and yellow. And in October, Reno transforms into Little Italy, as a festival celebrating Italian culture brings live entertainment, a sauce-cooking competition, grape stomp, and an Italian-themed farmers’ market to town.

Top things to do in Reno

The area hosts an array of special events, including open-mic nights and the beloved Wine and Art Walk, put on by local merchants on the third Saturday of every month.

National Automobile Museum

With 200 cars set amongst realistic street scenes, this place is a dream for gearheads. The museum opened to showcase the auto collection of a local gaming and casino pioneer who had managed to collect more than 1,400 cars in his lifetime. Highlights include the 1907 Thomas Flyer, winner of the 1908 New York-to-Paris auto race.

Truckee River Bike Path

Extending more than 12 miles, the Truckee River Bike Path takes you along the river in Downtown Reno and past beautiful marshland as you make your way to the neighboring city of Sparks. The trail is part of the longer Tahoe-Pyramid Trail connecting the source of the Truckee River to Lake Tahoe.
