Great house and location of traveling with dogs. The yard was so wonderful for them to run around in. The neighborhood was also great to take them for walks with a park just down the road. 🙂

Vibrant Boho Home | 3 Bed | Pet Friendly l UNR

SheliaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Michael's home. His home was located in a safe & quiet area. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed from cooking utensils/pots pans, paper towels, toilet paper, body wash, shampoo etc. The location was convenient to stores, gas stations and the hotel where our event was being held which was a plus for us. Michael made sure to check in with us during our entire stay and responded to questions in a timely manner and was always polite and helpful. My family and I plan to book with Michael the next time we visit Reno.

Ernie was very understanding and quick to respond to any questions I had. I had a situation come up where I may not have made it, Ernie promised a refund and was very understanding about the situation. Fortunately I was able to make it and the place was very cozy! Great backyard for my dog and very close to everything as well

Amanda’s house was perfect for our ski weekend. Close to multiple ski resorts but still close to Reno for dinning. The house was the perfect size with a fenced yard for our doggies to run around. The place was spotless and had all the necessary amenities. I would definitely stay again!

Anastasia’s place is a cute little unit above another apartment. It’s a small bedroom with a comfortable bed and a small kitchen with all we needed. It didn’t have a stove/ oven- just a hot plate.

Desert Gold - A Midtown Treasure - Reno, NV

JacquelineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Excellent location in terms of proximity to downtown etc. Extremely comfortable and spacious place. The only downside is that that it was fairly noisy and bright overnight. Otherwise, we liked everything about it and would stay here again when we are in the area. Very well-maintained and a lot of nice amenities.

Best Neighborhood in Reno!

CherylRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Pretty much had everything we needed to do for a cook out dinner with the family. Jacuzzi got hot but the jets didn’t work but we still manage to enjoy our stay. I love that it is very pet friendly and they had doggy toys, pee pads, and doggy bowls available. Location is 15 minutes away from all the Casinos which wasn’t that bad of a distance. Great home to stay for a peaceful get away from the city life in the Bay Area.

Hot Tub, 3~King Beds, Chefs Kitchen, Mountain View

NoahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay! The beds are extremely comfortable we all slept so well. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you’d need to cook, which made meals super easy. The hot tub was amazing after a long day, and the backyard is really peaceful perfect for relaxing. The neighborhood is a little on the interesting side, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. Plus, there are a ton of convenient restaurants and stores nearby, which was really handy. It’s also super close to the freeway, so getting around (including to the ski resorts) was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

Your guide to Reno

All About Reno

For a place that calls itself the Biggest Little City in the World, Reno isn’t all that large. Measuring roughly 100 square miles in Nevada’s high desert, the midsize town punches well above its weight class, with world-class galleries and museums, of-the-moment restaurants, and an entertainment industry that feels quaint compared to Nevada’s other big tourist draw. And it all happens in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

To get your bearings, take a stroll down Reno’s Riverwalk, the heart of downtown, dotted with wine bars, bistros, clothing boutiques, and open spaces perfect for stretching out. Better yet, head to Truckee River Whitewater Park to dip your paddle in Class II rapids. For even more fun on the water, the glistening shores of Lake Tahoe are less than an hour away. One of the biggest and most beautiful lakes in the United States, Tahoe attracts visitors year-round to its sandy beaches and iconic ski resorts.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Reno

The Reno-Lake Tahoe region becomes a hub for skiing, snowboarding, and other cold-weather sports during the winter months. As the snow melts, the lush greenery and beautiful foliage take center stage. Spring is a great time to visit as the crowds have thinned out, making it easier to get vacation rentals in Reno. With so many warm-weather outdoor activities on offer in the late spring and summer, the city takes on a vibrant energy as people rush in to enjoy the hiking, paddling, and biking in the area.

A calmer atmosphere settles in during fall, making it an excellent time to explore Reno's rich nature as the leaves change from emerald green to a sea of red, orange, and yellow. And in October, Reno transforms into Little Italy, as a festival celebrating Italian culture brings live entertainment, a sauce-cooking competition, grape stomp, and an Italian-themed farmers’ market to town.
