This was such a wonderful place to stay. It felt very private and welcoming. Well furnished and had more amenities than I'd ever think to ask for. Beautiful surrounding area! One little thing that I loved if that the mattress is semi firm, which is typically not the case in air bnbs, and meant that I had no back or wrist pain! The host is very nice and communicative. We never had any issues but Im sure that if we did she would have helped us out no problem. Really the only downside I could think of is more of a complaint against previous guests, as many of the dishes weren't terribly clean upon closer inspection (and its the guests responsibility to clean them). I would definitely recommend this place!

Andrew and Ashley were wonderful hosts. Their home was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with all the amenities that a family would need to enjoy a comfortable stay. Andrew and Ashley were very attentive and receptive to our needs and responded to our inquiries and requests almost immediately. A few notable highlights of our stay that we enjoyed were the proximity of their home to the river as we could enjoy watching and listening to its flow from the porch. The other thing that we all appreciated, especially our children, was the large assortment of board games that our hosts provided. Through these games we were able to establish a new tradition of a family game night with our young sons. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even intended to extend our trip but rightfully so their home was already booked on the day of our departure. Great place, wish we could have stayed longer! Excellent base camp for Whiteface. Close to Lake Placid as well. Really nice place, clean and well-maintained. Kid friendly for sure with lovely bunked beds and entertainment. Stairs are a bit tight and steep, so keep that in mind if its an issue for you. Would definitely stay there again!
