Monthly Rentals in Strathbogie

Had such a peaceful stay at Bogaroo Cottage. Quiet, spacious with a few cow spottings. I would say that the cottage is larger than it looks in the photos which is quite surprising! No noise from the nearby road and only a short drive to a town with coles, woollies etc. We visited in summer and would love to come back and stay during winter too. Internet was pretty reliable, only about 30 minutes each day where service and internet would cut out. Most kitchen essentials provided and super easy to cook all of your own meals, aircon also works quite well. Bathroom was very clean with toiletries and towels provided, really good water pressure. Close enough to the host’s house to feel safe but private enough to feel like you are in your own space. Didn’t need to contact the host for anything, all instructions were laid out very clearly. In summary, such a nice stay and relaxing getaway - like a home away from home.

The little added touches like hot choc and marshmallows or finska and cornhole for a few small activities just made it so much more homely rather than some airbnbs which are totally stripped back. View is just beautiful found ourselves just gazing out at it constantly, log burner is great and easy to get going. So peaceful off the beaten track.

Lovely place in a great location close enough to drive to town but quiet enough for peace and quiet. We had a dip in the pool but felt a bit rude walking through the owner's garden! The place is furnished great, we only used the main bedroom and the bed was comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous. If you have dogs without amazing recall, you might need to keep an eye on them in the garden as the gaps in the fence panels are quite big. Luckily we took a long line with us just in case so used that when we weren't outside with her. We used the firepit and BBQ one night which was a great evening in. Would recommend and stay again.

We really enjoyed staying at Mary’s lovely retreat- the gardens are beautiful and we walked into the township every day and explored the surroundings and Euroa. Our 2 dogs were happy in the space and we loved being able to relax in our own private area. Gorgeous stay.
