Places to stay in Steele

The cabin is beautiful and the view is amazing. The kitchen has everything you might need. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are clean and modern. This was one of the best rentals we have stayed at. We hope to return.

Great place to stay, easy to find, close to the park. We were in town for a wedding at Burritt on the Mountain and it was so close! Would love to come back and explore the park/area more

Very comfortable and convenient to downtown. Close to just about everything in the Huntsville area. It was very quiet and peaceful and the amenities were as advertised, great little kitchen. I would recommend Margaret's place to anyone thinking of visiting Huntsville.

Conveniently located close to downtown but still tucked away in an actual neighborhood. The space is well decorated and has a nice aesthetic. I personally found the beds on the firm side and the traffic noise from the surrounding streets a bit loud, but the majority of other reviews mention comfy beds and quiet surroundings so I may just be picky/used to a quiet rural neighborhood! Overall a great place to crash for the night in Birmingham (especially if travelling with a pet!)

My family and I were in town for medical appointments and due to a snafu with another AirBnB needed a place quickly. Julie responded within minutes that her place was available, accepted dogs, and we could move in by noon. The day we moved also happened to be my son's birthday and I was very happy to find the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare and serve his corned beef and cabbage dinner. The house is near a park which our dog enjoyed and several restaurants, including the well-known local favorite, Garage, and Bottega. There are thoughtful touches throughout the house, including traffic cones in front to reserve parking during Garage busy times, shampoo and soap in the showers, ear plugs in each bedroom, and a huge board with recommendations for restaurants and other things to do. The house is centrally located to the UAB hospital and many great restaurants. Be sure to try Frothy Monkey, El Barrio, and Automatic Seafood and the Barber Museum in Leeds. Thanks, Julie!

Worth the price because of the cleanliness and the proactive helpful host! Also, the location is in a gated community so it felt especially safe!

We really enjoyed our time at the Delilah tiny home. We loved the Mentone area, particularly the Wildflower Cafe. A great place to chill after hiking to DeSoto Falls and driving down to Little River Canyon.

My mom rarely spends nights away from home because she is only comfortable in her own bed and she has very high standards of cleanliness. Barb and Marc-Cameron's place was exactly what I needed. My mother was so complimentary during our stay about how clean it was, how comfortable she felt, how good she slept in the bed. It was only about 25 minutes and a very easy drive from the concert hall. the neighborhood is so quiet and very beautiful. Barbara called me before I checked in to make sure that I knew the best way to get there from Birmingham, and she made sure I understood how to check in and how to get in and out of the driveway, which is quite easy. The kitchen is so well stocked, there are all the supplies that I have in my own kitchen, just about. Bathrooms are clean, water pressure is great, water is nice and hot. All the furniture is very clean and very cozy. Lots of throw blankets and pillows. Common areas are open and airy. no clutter, beautifully decorated. Loved it!
