Charming and adorable cottage! It has everything you need. The grounds are beautiful and Antonia was super responsive. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

Fantastic spot to enjoy a weekend in Charlottesville. There is a place to sit outside underneath two large holly trees, and the location is right next to a wonderful winery. It was well situated to wineries in the area, grocery stores in Charlottesville (Wegmans is 5 minutes down the road), and also near Monticello-Saunders Trails (5 minutes down the road). My only complaint is some of the dishes/utensils weren't cleaned, presumably by previous renters.

Described accurately. Cute unit. Right in a neighborhood which at first was a little bit of a surprise but the unit was really quiet. We heard kids a couple times, but nothing too early. Bed is a small full (as described) and is a bit wobbly — bulking that up would be good. Hot water seemed limited, one bath fill and we’d be out of hot water, not sure how to improve on that, but just good to know. Owner was very responsive and helpful - provided umbrella when we needed one, was quick with info also! Would recommend. The place was super cute, comfortable and clean. Walkable to restaurants and to the mall. Owners were very responsive. Would stay there again.

This beautiful location was perfect for our plans to read all weekend. The view was incredible, and the space was very relaxing. Daniel met us as we came in and offered to help us, but otherwise we were very secluded. The house was perfect for taking some time away from screens, but had good enough WiFi for us to watch a show with dinner. The kitchen was very well stocked- the local treats were delicious! Everything is exactly like the photos and descriptions, except better as you can’t feel the peace of that place without being there! I would definitely come back for another stay.

Such a cute spot! Very close to downtown Charlottesville and close to all the wineries! My husband and I had a great time here! Highly recommend and want to come back in the summer months!

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and area is very peaceful and quiet. The home is well kept.

This stay was perfect for our needs, since we wanted somewhere close to JMU for my Ph.D program interview that was affordable and quiet. We had really nice breakfasts in the kitchen and enjoyed shopping and eating local with the recommendations from the host. Since we were staying in the winter, it was also very kind of the hosts to have salted the steps and the driveway. Finally, they had a wealth of great amenities available: amazing selection of books, a variety of snacks and coffees for every palate, quality shampoos and lotions, and comfortable blankets. One of our favorite activities was cozying up to the electric fireplace after a cold evening in the snow. Amazing work on the hosts' part to make this special!

The whole place was magnificent. It was a great value. Beautiful location and private. Very nice accommodations. Great value for the price.

We had a nice stay. It was comfy and private, even though main home was right behind the cottage. We all slept well, though there was some slight road noise at times. Road wasn't super busy but would hear occasionally. The cottage was clean, blankets were warm, and the details gave the cottage a homey and pleasant feel. Extra touches and thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated! The water did run cold quicker than anticipated, I believe, but was managed rather eaaily once we knew. overall great stay! Our daughter even asked to go back to that cottage the next time we come to Charlottesville!

Peaceful, picturesque, and cozy location and everything was in perfect order. I was disappointed when where I've stayed in the area in the past was not longer available but wow this took my stay over the top. It's just minutes away from where I was visiting making while giving me time away to relax with some time to myself. I've already recommended to other family members and this will definitely be my go to place for future visits to Gordonsville. Thank you for sharing your property!!

Absolutely great property and two week stay while in the area for work. Very quiet and safe place for my girls and had everything you could possibly think of needing!

Cozy cottage, neat, comfy, and clean, with a nicely stocked kitchen and bathroom, all spotless. As vacationers who place a high value on privacy, we were surprised to find that the front of the cottage faces the main house directly across the patio, so the "private" description of the hot tub/patio/backyard does not mean "secluded." And a side note: we discovered that the only way to fill the bathtub with hot water was to fill it using the shower (the on-demand hot water heater wouldn't keep up with the tub faucet). We loved the quiet but not too remote location and the hot tub under the stars.

Our group was 3 couples for a wedding at nearby Keswick. It was extremely convenient to the celebration. Everything we needed was on hand in the kitchen including coffee. There was also a bottle of wine to welcome us! We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely pool and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in the Doctor’s Cottage. It had a king bed; generous living room and was quaint and cozy. The couple in the Smokehouse felt the Air conditioning system could have been better and the couple in the Tavern thought it was overall a little dark inside. We could not have been happier with the accommodations and location was key!

My stay at Laura’s tiny home in Charlottesville was perfect. The moment I walked in, I was amazed by how beautifully furnished & decorated it was. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making it a true home away from home. The home was spotless, which put me at ease. Laura provided all the appliances, utensils, dishware, & other items one could need for comfort & convenience. It was clear that a lot of care was taken to ensure guests would want for nothing. Laura & her husband were fantastic communicators & very responsive to any questions. Their dedication to providing a great experience was evident, especially when they went above & beyond by shoveling a path to my car & scraping the snow off my windshield, windows, roof, & hood. This incredible gesture was deeply appreciated. My experience at Laura’s tiny home was exceptional, & I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, & beautifully maintained place to stay in Charlottesville. 5 stars!!!

Our stay could not be easier. The location and proximity to great food, coffee and interesting shops amidst the beautiful Shenandoah Valley made a personal visit special. Brad had incredible taste which took what could have been another in-law apartment to a different level in terms of decoration and quality of amenities. Great bathroom as well!

Review: This tiny house was an absolute treat! I arrived just a day before the snow hit, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. Jeremy was fantastic—super accommodating and even let me check in a little early since I was initially nervous about finding the location (which ended up being no problem at all). The spot is perfectly secluded while still being close to plenty of great breweries. The best part? It’s dog-friendly! My pup, Tank, had an absolute blast playing in the snow and running around the property. I even think I caught a glimpse of Jeremy’s dog, but I can’t say for sure! Everything was exactly as described, and despite the heavy snowfall, I never had to worry about losing power. I truly enjoyed my week here and would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

I had an absolutely lovely time staying here and using this lovely space as a home base as I explored Cville! Very walkable to UVA and town proper!

This place was amazing. The property is well thought out and the instructions and pictures were so helpful. The amenities were so fun we wanted to stay an extra night. There’s something for everybody. We will definitely be back ☺️

We loved our stay at Katie's Kottage and highly recommend it for a relaxing visit in a great location. Katie is a wonderful host and the place is peaceful and cozy. We particularly liked her recycling station and beautiful yard.

Sue's apartment was the perfect stop off for me and my dog on our 2 day journey. Great location - easy stop off from I-81 but beautifully rural with spectacular views. The apartment had everything we needed and was lovely and warm on a very cold night.

Gail was SO accommodating and helpful during our stay. The personal touches Gail included for us were so thoughtful. We loved our stay here, and will be back one day!
