We had a lovely last minute stay in the barn! After requesting to book less than 24 hours before arrival we were shocked to arrive to such a welcoming set up including already warmed up underfloor heating & lit wax burners. The place itself is so cosy and comfortable, beautiful interior design and kept in immaculate condition! The views from the double doors were stunning, the outdoor furniture and loungers would be perfect in the summer months! We visited one of Jules’ recommendations for a meal nearby and it didn’t disappoint either - lots of lovely countryside restaurants, pubs and shops nearby in Goudhurst and Sissinghurst which we enjoyed. We loved the small touches like doggie treats and dog towels and bowls left for our 2 dachshund to enjoy during our stay. We didn’t get the pleasure to meet our host but cannot fault how welcome he made us feel through messages pre and post stay. Would highly recommend if a quiet, cosy getaway in the countryside is what you are after.

The Annex was a great place to stay. It was very clean and well equipped. We were in the area for a friend’s wedding so didn’t get the chance to see much of the local area but it looked lovely! Lindsey was helpful with recommendations and arranging check in. Would stay again.

Great accommodation, pub opposite was lovely, friendly staff & excellent food. found some lovely walks, our dog loved the access to the field. Philippa & Alex were friendly, helpful & responsive, great place to stay, thank you 😊
