It was kind of Raffa to make he feel like part of the community over the holiday season. I met Babbo Natale (Santa) in neighboring Sqillace, flew to Rome to see the Pope on Xmas Eve and Day, and Raffa invited me to see the Befana on the 5th before leaving town.#1 holiday ever!

Mario was an extremely enthusiastic host providing a great comfortable apartment with well equiped kitchen. It was nice to be in a quiet central location where you can just walk out your door and join in with locals for an evening stroll or aperitivo.
