Cottage vacation rentals in Southport

Absolutely loved this day! It was the perfect place for my dogs and I to have a great weekend away and enjoy Oak Island. Super close to an awesome dog park and great restaurants downtown. Loved the space and the set up.

my family has an issue with the AirBnb we booked and needed an emergency place quickly. I found David's place and immediately booked. I explained our situation of the previous place since we just booked for the night around 8pm. Because I booked so quickly to get my family in a better situation, I forgot to book with the dog and immediately texted them the situation. They were so responsive, understanding and accommodating! I am so thankful for this!

We spent Thanksgiving at Topsail this year and rented Cheryl’s house to have extra space for our family in addition to our home next door. The kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we needed to fix our Thanksgiving meal! The house does not feel much like a rental, but more like staying at a family member’s home. We very much enjoyed our stay and the spectacular views of the sunset!

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was clean and so cute with all of the extras. Location was wonderful and loved all the restaurant suggestions. Brenda really thought of everything! We hope to be repeat customers. Thank you Brenda for making our first trip to the coast so awesome!!

Leslie Ann's place was perfect size for our family of four. We loved the space underneath the house, which was spacious and great for hanging out. The location was amazing being less than 5 minute walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and stores. We had a great stay and would happily stay here again.

The place was great. Felt very a spacious and private. The fenced in yard was very well maintained and great for our pups. Great, friendly people. We have stayed in Wilmington/Wrightsville many time and this location is great. While it’s not on the beach, it’s so close and lots of walkable dining. Super close to Airlie Gardens and the harbor for sunsets. Thanks for the stay!

We loved the house and the proximity to the beach. We only walked to the beach once for the sunrise, but spent the rest of the time in the house. We loved that each room was spacious, clean, and had a bathroom for each room.

I needed a place to stay while I was in town awaiting the birth of my grandchild. I loved the quaint back yard with the hot tub and twinkle lights surrounded by beautiful trees and landscape . Home was very comfortable and I felt very safe, as I was alone.

You cannot beat this location! Little house on the beach with a hot tub. Clean, bright, and everything you need for a little weekend getaway. Super responsive host and provided great taco recommendations. Hot tub was super clean and well taken care of. Will definitely come back!

Bryan's place definitely felt like a little home away from home on the beach. It's a quaint cottage, packed with essentials and was just the right size for us two. I was very thankful for its size and no stairs when I unfortunately sprained my ankle on day 2 of our vacation and had to hobble around in crutches the rest of the time! Even though you're right off the main road, there was no noise and was pretty quiet and peaceful. Beach access is right down the road and very easily walkable, or hobbable. The hot tub was a great plus to relax in after a long night. Bryan was very communicative and prompt with questions we had prior to booking. Check-in was very easy and check-out instructions were very reasonable and clear. Overall a great stay that we would definitely book again!

It was a described and if we didn’t have something we needed. Asked for a late check out and she gladly accommodated that for us. The jacuzzi was wonderful and super clean. Will rent there again.

I loved everything about our stay. It was so clean. The porch, decor, bed (mattress was exactly my comfort level) the sound machine was great. Craftsmanship was well done. Heating units were efficient & quiet, easy instructions. The area was quiet and so close to the beach. Being able to hear the ocean from the cottage was a nice suprise, it felt like we were on the water. There are horses (and maybe a donkey) nearby. That was another bonus because I love seeing animals in beautiful surroundings. We ordered food from Sorellis Pizza (pizza, pepperoni rolls) & Sea Biscuit Cafe (Fried Green Tomato Blt, Braised shirt rib grilled cheese) all were delicious. Anywhere went in the area the staff was so friendly. Gretchen was very kind/thoughtful, I truly appreciated that. My hubby and I agree, this was a fantastic getaway. One of our faves, like right at the top. I have a feeling we'll be back! I loved feeling safe comfortable and right at home. Thanks Gretchen.

the location of the house was great, close to stores, restaurants, and public beach access. The living room has a ceiling fan, but neither bedrooms have one.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has a 'beachy' feel to it and we felt relaxed and in beach mode the second we walked in. The path to the beach was right across the street from the house and the beach location is hard to beat....simply magnificent. Everything we needed from Publix to restaurants was just minutes away. Shannon and I highly recommend this home and we are sure to be back soon! Glenn

This cozy cottage was exactly what my daughter and I needed for a weekend away in a secluded setting on their property. Charlene was a gracious host and the amenities in this cozy cottage were impeccable! It was super inviting, modern, and had all the things that you needed including very appreciated basket of snacks upon arrival. My daughter and I really enjoyed using the gym next-door and then headed out toward Wrightsville Beach the next day. We enjoyed the fire pit at night with provided firewood on the cute patio with the string lights and peaceful sounds of nature. Grocery stores were easily 5 to 10 minutes away and Wilmington was a good 15-20 minute ride. Topsail was 25 minutes in the other direction and we loved visiting there as well. The property is huge and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage! Great stay overall!

Fantastic location walking distance to all the best stuff in Carolina Beach. The place is very cute and offers all the essentials you could possibly need. If the couple block walk to the beach is ever too much, the pool is a great place to get some sun and enjoy the beach weather. Would definitely return.

Lindsey was very responsive. Their home was perfect for the 6 of us. Very clean and very nicely updated. So great to have linens and towels included as well as two beach chairs. Quiet surroundings and close to lots of things to do. We would go to this home again if in the area.

Easy process and served purpose for the stay. If we come to the same nearby event next year we will see if the same place is available.

The Cottage is a beautiful place to stay while visiting the Wrightsville Beach area. Kristi and Ian were very communicative and kept us posted of holiday events happening in the area during our stay. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to make a nice meal on Thanksgiving. It's a pretty short drive to the beach and just about a mile from Airlie Gardens. We would definitely recommend this spot to others!
