Vacation rentals with a fire pit in South Yorkshire

Rosie and Adam's place was ideal for our first family holiday with our adult children and their partners. It was a great space to relax in with the pool table, table tennis and darts board; a good sized kitchen and lounge area were great for cooking and relaxing. Shelduck Cottage was the perfect cosy getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the cottage's character and the fantastic views. It truly felt like a home away from home. The facilities were excellent, and we especially loved the fun touch of the decorative ducks in every room – such a unique and delightful detail! Angela was a wonderful host; communication was quick and easy, and she was incredibly responsive when we encountered a small issue, resolving it swiftly and efficiently. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Shelduck Cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay at Winking owl cottage, everything was as described in the listing and lovely welcome gifts on arrival. Shirley was very friendly and helpful and was around we needed anything although wasn't intrusive.

We had a lovely week relaxing in this beautiful part of the world. The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults - with large comfortable bedrooms and plenty of living space to relax together, be that in the kitchen and dining areas or curled up by the fire in the winter evenings. The nearby village was walkable and had plenty of great options for food and drink, with the local ice cream farm an added bonus on route! Sarah was extremely helpful in providing local recommendations and responded promptly to any issues that arose. We would happily return.

Have now stayed here a couple of times, with and without bringing bikes. Plenty of gravel or MTB type riding from the door (see routes on the likes of bikepacking com or komoot) and also plenty of walks from the door. It's a cosy space with lots of history in biking and now running and a great base for hanging out with mates and accessing the Peaks.

Had a delightful stay at Laura's property. It was exactly as described. The location was excellent with a 5 minute walk to transport for the city centre, a beautiful park close by and a shopping centre at the end of the road. The host communicated at all times very promptly. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for comfortable accommodation in Sheffield.

This was an excellent location for us to visit family and friends before Christmas. The house was brilliant for our needs. Plenty of space for us all, including a toddler and dog. Brilliant to find such an amazing house that was very dog friendly. Even though I was late in telling Simon about taking a dog, there was a bowl of water, dog blankets and a torch in the utility room. It was also brilliant to be able to access the Sculpture Park free of charge straight from the dog proof garden. Great for long on lead dog walks. This is Simon's home so unlike many Airbnb properties it has some personal features. I did smile when I opened his 'man draw' in the kitchen 😂. The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We would love to stay there again.

Great stopover point for M1, A1M, M18 routes. Easy access to Peak District, Dales, etc. extremely helpful host

Had an amazing weekend in Sheffield! Lisa’s instructions for finding the place and parking were very clear and the space was welcoming and cosy. We had everything we could possibly need to from bread and milk to shower gel and shampoo. The location is excellent and is walking distance to pretty much everywhere in the city. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again! Thank you Lisa!

Meghan's property was lovely, and exactly what we needed. Was nice to be able to sit out in the garden and enjoy the weather when not out and about. Was located in a very quiet location and would definitely stay again if we came back!

perfect just perfect . this place is an absolute gem we arrived on Friday evening the cabin was lovely and cosy with fire going snd soft music playing there was even a little something nice left in the fridge for us. the place was immaculately vlean and tidy .Duncan was extremely helpful with directions to his place and with his recommendations for eating out. we will definitely be returning sometime in the summer .

Had the most wonderful stay at Kate’s place. The location was unbeatable, with panoramic (almost) views of the peaks. From the best sunrise in the morning to a glorious sunset in the evening you couldn’t beat it. On the doorstep of fantastic walks, without the need for moving the car! Kate and Jon were incredibly friendly and helpful, finding exactly the right balance between respecting privacy and being available should we need it; very welcoming and helpful. The place is gorgeous, decorated immaculately and a super private patio from which to enjoy the view. Very comfortable, and within easy reach ~1mile of pub and shops. We Hope to return (pun intended)! Thank you for being such super hosts.

Great little bolt hole for a night away, peaceful, quiet and plenty of on street parking available. The addition of a shared kitchen annexe next door if required too! Great communication with the renter and a funky little cabin!
