The Floating Library was the perfect place for us to stay while we were getting our Connecticut home ready to sell. It was a wonderful oasis at the base of the mountain. We thought we would be able to enjoy some time hiking yet our tasks took most of our days. The environment is clean, creative, and beautiful. There are many nooks to spend time thinking, praying, reading, meditating or just being still. The kitchen is well stocked with many thoughtful extras. There is an abundance of linens, towels, sheets, blankets, etc. The bathroom has a great skylight, terrific shower and plenty of space to put your personal toiletry items. One night we took out the nostalgic game of rockem sockem robots and had many laughs. Thanks for a great place to stay, Damien!

We had a wonderful stay! We were in town to visit Mount Holyoke College with my daughter, and this was the perfect home base — just minutes away from campus. The hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We had a very late check-in on our first night, and they kindly left the outdoor and driveway lights on to make our arrival easy and welcoming. It was also such a thoughtful touch to find bottled water waiting for us, especially since we hadn’t had a chance to stop at the store. The home itself is a charming, historic farmhouse — cozy, comfortable, and full of character. Thank you for making our visit so seamless and pleasant. It was a meaningful trip that helped solidify my daughter’s decision to commit to MHC!

Cute clean and convenient! Only thing is there is truly no sound barrier between the space and the home above, but other than that all was great!
