Vacation rentals with a patio in South Charleston

The apartment was thoughtfully appointed and scrupulously clean. I hesitate to add this, because I felt like McKayla was doing me a special favor that she might not be able to do often. My situation was a bit atypical because I was renting the place for a young friend who was moving to town for school. He had to arrive before his apartment was ready and, well, he's young and inexperienced. McKayla was so supportive, helpful, and understanding. We needed to unexpectedly extend his stay and she was still flexible and really wonderful. I will sing the praises of this apartment and our terrific host! great for a longer term stay and very comfortable! McKayla: you have fans who think you rock!

Gloria's place was just what we needed. We were just the right distance from the Monastery that we like to visit. Gloria was very sweet and cared for us, even putting down salt on the steps on the really cold mornings. We were able to disconnect from our busy life as a family and just relax. We highly recommend a visit if you want to relax and unwind in Wayne.

Dave created an environment that makes guests feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Dave the Super Host was very knowledgeable about the location, amenities, and services, and able to provide helpful recommendations. Dave and his son was very Positive and Professional.

We enjoyed our stay! Great location with parks & local bbq nearby. Host was responsive & accommodating, plenty of street parking once we arrived, & home was equipped with everything we needed. The only thing I wish we had was a full body mirror, as we were in town for interviews. Definitely recommend!

This was a beautiful place and very clean. It was nice to be able to have all our friends in the same building but our own rooms. The fire pit and wood provided was nice as well :) Plenty of parking too! Julie was very sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Such a great stay with a beautiful, peaceful surrounding. I enjoyed coffee on the back porch watching the birds and enjoying nature multiple times. The house is very easy to find, and the photo instructions make finding the enterance a breeze. The parking area is large enough I could have turned my Corolla around in the driveway if I'd needed to. The drive up to the house is your typical West Virginia back roads, but if you take it slow and pay attention you'll be just fine. Scottie was quick to respond to any questions I had, and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the stay! If I end up back that way I would for sure stay again!

Sherry has a beautiful home with a large pool, hot tub, and fire pit. The interior was spacious, clean, and well decorated! It felt like a trip to the beach without leaving the mountains. I would recommend this home to anyone planning a vacation around Fayetteville.

Overall great place

We had a wonderful stay! This house is conveniently located in downtown Charleston in a quiet quaint neighborhood. We walked downtown and also had easy access to the interstate. Location is perfect. We have stayed in this neighborhood before. The neighborhood surrounds a power plant, but that did not affect our stay one bit. The plant is surrounded by a nice brick wall and provides extra light that also affects security. The house has plenty of privacy in the perfect gated backyard and the plant is inconsequential. We parked a car in the garage and an SUV in the driveway. The house is best for two vehicles and there is no on street parking due to the power plant. Just plan accordingly. The house is spotless and spacious. We felt completely at home. There are plenty of amenities- towels, dishes, attention to detail. The hosts were perfect, they obviously take this seriously. You won’t regret choosing this house and we will return when visiting Charleston in the future.

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

Terry's place was absolutely great! He provided everything that one needed to be comfortable. The home was clean and had small touches that made you feel at home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Derrick & Angela’s. The house is gorgeous, it’s centrally located, and you can walk to get breakfast, or dinner in the little shops just down the hill. They have stocked the house with everything that you would need to be able to cook at home. The towels, bedding, and beds were all very comfortable. Just lovely! We would totally rent this house again! Thanks!

We stayed at Shane’s place for a weekend climbing trip and it was exactly what we were looking for. The house was large and had a great kitchen and living room for the group to hang out in and cook meals. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and the space was well set up for us when we arrived. Shane was kind and responsive in our messages. Overall this stay was a great experience and I would be happy to book with Shane again.
