Furnished bell tent @ the Gaggle

MattRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Sarah and Simon were very lovely hosts, Sarah gave us a great welcome and lots of information, even squeezed us in for one of Simon’s delicious roasts! Very welcome and safe space with lots for the kids to do, our son particularly loved the play bus. Our only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer!! We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Daisy Bell Tent

LucyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We stayed in the bell tents and it was beautiful, the site is lovely and quiet, has a beautiful lake/pond and the bell tent area is sectioned off with trees/hedges so you have lots of privacy. The dogs loved it too and had lots of space to run and play. There are lots of bean bags, chairs, lights and fire pits. It’s incredibly cosy and was perfect for a couple of summer evenings. The hosts were great and when we needed more fire wood we were able to purchase some from them within an hour. We’d definitely recommend Redlands Breaks to others. A beautiful stay!

Bell Tent on the Mendips with stunning view

HuwRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our time at Mark & Bridget’s glamping spot was pure MAGIC from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We stayed there during my 50th birthday and what a way to celebrate… sleeping under the stars. The view from the very comfortable tent is jaw dropping. I told Bridget that it was difficult for us not to hear Howard Shore’s The Hobbit & Lord of The Rings soundtracks playing in our heads as we gazed out across the Somerset levels to Glastonbury Tor in the distance! It does feel like you have stepped through a portal into the Shire. We were blessed with some great weather so really got to enjoy it to the max. With all the fresh air, we slept like babies in the tent. If you want to get away from it all in a stunningly beautiful spot be close to nature, then this is a wonderful way to do it. Mark and Bridget were brilliant hosts too, and responded to any questions we had very promptly. This is an experience that comes HIGHLY recommended. Thank you Bridget and Mark! We feel brand new!

Glamping safari with hot tub & wellbeing space

SylviaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Fantastic place to stay in Somerset countryside whilst visiting friends. A stones throw away from Bruton and 10 min walk into Wincanton. Charlie and Paul were extremely helpful, friendly hosts and I had everything I needed for a very cosy, comfortable stay, with beautiful view across the meadow. Very tastefully styled and well equipped too. Charlie organised a yoga class in the big chill out tent for a few of us which was extra special and the hot tub was especially magical at nighttime under the stars.
A vibrant woodland scene is captured, featuring a carpet of bluebells amidst lush green grass. Sunlight filters through the trees, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. In the background, the outline of people can be seen enjoying the natural surroundings.

Wild Woodland Camping - Quantock Bell Tent

RhiannonRating, 5 stars44 months ago
Couldn’t recommend this more (although I’d rather no one else discovers this gem so it doesn’t get booked up!) I attended a training day here and knew I had to come back when I saw the view from the camping area- little did I know I’d spend most of my weekend hiding in the woodland, but it was even better than I remembered. So much fun had by all, thank you.

Driftaway Glamping entire site: both yurt & safari

KateRating, 5 stars9 months ago
My friends and I had a great stay at Driftaway. We hired both the yurt and safari tent so that we had the whole site to ourselves and were able to pitch up another tent to accommodate three families with young children and a dog altogether. The tents and shower blocks are well equipped with cooking equipment and games. The surroundings are beautiful with a woodland behind which has deer, foxes, badgers and rabbits. The hosts were really friendly and responsive when I let them know the loo flush in one of the toilets wasn't working well. They were very accommodating when we had other friends visit for BBQs as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay & would definately go back!
A bell tent with a light beige exterior is framed by greenery. The entrance is adorned with decorative triangular bunting and features an inviting doormat. A small plant adds a touch of nature beside a sign reading 'OTTER.' The interior invites relaxation and comfort.

Cosy Otter bell tent by the river

HelenRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Tam and Johnnie could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had such a relaxing couple of nights in one of their bell tents Our bed was super comfy. You could not want for anything. Every evening Johnnie prepared our fire pit and left us plenty of wood to burn into the night. The bench by the river was a lovely tranquil spot although we did not see the otters and beavers that frequent that part of the river we did see a heron amongst other birds. We hope one day to go back. Rusty our border terrier had a wonderful mini break and really enjoyed the dog treats Tam and Johnnie had left for him.
