I would recommend David’s apartment. I stayed for a month and nice. Pros: - David and his family are lovely. Him and his wife are kind and respectful. - The neighborhood is peaceful and very safe. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe. Great place for a long walks. + the lake near by is beautiful. - Most things needed are about 10-15 minutes away walking. There’s also a bus stop 3 minutes away walking and a train 10 minutes away walking. Cons: - It’s pretty easy to get into main Paris but the H line stops running at about 10:30 making it a little difficult to get back to via public transport. If you tend to stay out later this might be an inconvenience for you. - No closet or clothing rack. As someone with a lot of hanging clothing I found this a little difficult. Recommends - I recommend adding a full length mirror if you can find the space for it. -Adding a collapsible clothing rack. Overall I had a nice time here. Affordable, comfortable, and safe. We had an amazing stay at this cozy and well-equipped home! It was warm and inviting, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The garden was absolutely wonderful, and we had a very emotional and fulfilling experience picking olives from the tree—something we’ve been unable to do in our own country because of the war. Blandine and Danilo were incredibly caring and responsive. They even gifted us fresh eggs from their hens, and Blandine left us a beautiful note that said 'HAPPY STOP THE WAR' alongside a jar of honey—such a heartfelt gesture. The location is perfect: the bus stop is just a few steps away, and the train station is an easy 8-minute walk. The area is clean, peaceful, and very charming. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to all our friends!
