Vacation rentals in Smithfield

It was a quiet retreat each day of our trip after spending the days at either the Creation Museum or the Ark Encounter. It was situated conveniently between the two places we had come to see. The weather was quite cold so we didn't spend much time out on the deck, but if we ever come back in the summer, I'd like to stay here again so we could enjoy the view from that deck. The restaurants in the area were great too. We especially enjoyed Hansie's Flip Burgers. One thing that was especially luxurious were the thick, white bath towels. We looked forward to showering each evening and using them. The ease of using the entry code was great because you can't forget your own phone number! Loved that! All in all we felt that the place was very well maintained, very comfortable, and in a very quiet, safe neighborhood.

Jennifer's home was lovely to stay in while we were in Madison for work. The beds were the best! Appreciate when a host realizes how important a good night of sleep is when your away from home.

My husband and I were traveling with 2 couples so this place was perfect for our needs. VERY CLEAN Parking for 3 cars 3 King beds ( a little on the firm side) We did a LOT of cooking and the kitchen was well stocked for that. We also enjoyed a couple of nights in watching movies and a football game. The living room was comfy with enough seating for us all. The TV has a Roku so we were able to log into our streaming services. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Kim helped me get reservations set up for my parents anniversary, for the second year in a row. She is extremely kind and helpful, and my parents loved her place and the area so much they went back! Very clean and nice place, plenty of extra amenities, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area and wildlife, good restaurants within driving distance, and plenty of privacy and a feeling of safety and calm! Thank you again Kim from all of us, especially my very happy parents!

Perfect place for a getaway, the unit is right on the water with nice large windows to look at the water. Great firepit, grilled done hot dogs on the fire. Very nice welcome basket with treats, mosquito repellent (which we did not need but was very much appreciated)and a flash light. We will book again for sure, thank you!!!

Cottage 37 was a fantastic place for a girls' trip! We felt very much at home as soon as we walked in. We enjoyed the outdoor area every night overlooking the lake and loved seeing the lake covered in fog every morning. The kitchen was great to cook in, as was the grill. All around, a great place to stay!

LOVED the three houses!! They were perfect for our large group. Very beautifully decorated and laid out amazingly. Everyone was in awe at the little details. The beds were all very comfy. Lots of tvs, hot tub, beautiful tiled showers.. everything was perfect! We were even surprised by a huge firework display for Labor Day. Very impressed with the property and convenience to restaurants, shopping, & the Ark Encounter.

Beautiful place- very spacious and lovely scenery. Kitchen facilities top notch and very comfy and homey. Large bathroom either plentiful towels and fantastic laundry facilities. Ticks off all the boxes! Will definitely stay again!
