Amazing views from a well laid out compact house with huge deck space. The house has all amenities needed for a short or long stay. Bob and Jess were great hosts, quick to respond to any questions, checking in was easy. Wonderfully central to anything on the eastern side of the Coromandel Peninsula. Would love to come back again. Recommended.

Great location surrounded by native forest. Easy distance between Pauanui Beach and EV charger at Hikuwai. View from the veranda in morning is uplifting.

Julia and her husband are amazing hosts. The directions to their home were spot on. The kitchen was stocked so well one could stay there a week and never have to shopping. They really exceeded any expectation anyone would have of a host. They recommended we go to another town for something called the Beach Hop - what an amazing experience. Thanks to Julia, it was an amazing day. They provided a shovel for use at the Hot Water Beach. All in all this was simply one great place to stay. We were there for three nights but felt so comfortable, if time had permitted, we would have stayed longer. One suggestion though is that if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place for you. Although you are perched on a hillside, downtown is a short stroll downhill

We loved our stay here. This house has an amazing view, so even when you are at home, you can enjoy the sights of the beach. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped and had everything that we needed. In addition, Tairua is a lovely spot to visit. Will definitely be adding this to the "holiday favorites" list.
