House vacation rentals in Sintra

We are immensely grateful for the days we spent here, it met our expectations. Everything is beautiful, clean, a 10. We will definitely be back!

Nilza is the greatest hostess. From the clear check-in instructions to the prompt and personable response throughout our stay, we could have not asked for anything more. The house is very centrally located, within walking distance to the train station and the Marginal. Nilza kindly recommended restaurants in the area and things to do. The large kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of beds and one bath upstairs, one downstairs. We received extra bed linen/towels on request as we stayed for 10nights. The water works perfectly fine, just know cold is hot and hot is cold :). The construction was not bothersome to us, as we were out of the house during the day. When my family got locked out of the house or the water was shut down due to a broken pipe in the neighborhood, Nilza responded within minutes and did everything she could to help. Also, the key to the front door works perfectly if you follow the instructions on how to insert it. Thank you, Nilza, for a wonderful experience!

A lovely stay & Mauricio was very communicative. The house is easy to walk to & the market is close by. Very good value & we would like to return.

It was a dream checkin as Paula and Anselmo waited for us. Moreover, she prepared some local Portugese dish which was blessing in disguise. Barbecue was a bit old and was replaced the next day!! Garden is the main attraction as the kids just loved there !

We had a very nice stay in Trafaria and Claudia was very attentive and friendly. she left details like a bottle of wine for us and the super clean and comfortable house. Trafaria is a diverse town, good restaurants and very feasible to visit Lisbon with the ferry.

paula was so helpful and was waiting for us when we arrived. The little cabin was extremely clean and had loads of little touches. I epecially loved the lavender on the towels very nice touch. There are a couple of restaurants walkable near by. A lovely bbq take away and a great very cheap and friendly cafe bar just around the corner. we could'nt have found a better place to spend afew days. Thank you Paula x

We had a great stay! The house is simple, but very welcoming, full of charm and with an environment that made us feel right at home. Mrs. Isabel was always extremely friendly and always available, for anything. He immediately responded to all of our questions and resolved any situation with speed and good disposition. Absolutely beautiful 2 bedroom apartment and private gardens. Easy walk to restaurants and a 15 minute safe walk to the center of Sintra. Lisa was quick to answer any questions and give advice on surrounding area. Loved our stay on this wonderful city outside of Lisbon. Also, the ocean a short drive away.

Barbara was very helpfull and it was a pleasure to stay at her place, would recommend to anyone. Cheers!

The home is beautiful and spacious enough that all 9 of us had our own space and room to hang out. The pool is incredible and the location is beautiful, although not right in the heart of lisbon ubers are extremely cheap (at least compared to London) so getting into to lisbon or to the beach was very easy. We had a great time !

Great place, up to our expectations, very accommodating host and gives us a lot of information about the area to prepare for our stay. I would recommend it 100%.

This was an absolute dream house I deeply loved! Such a treat to enjoy this incredible home in such a perfect location in Ericeira. Gorgeous sunset views. Walkable to the beach. The coziest and beautifully designed lounge spaces. Great for working and studying or entertaining. Kitchen has everything that you need! Loved the dining room, sun room, and outdoor spaces. I’d move into this home. It has just the best energy and is perfect for families. Elizabeth is the BEST host as well! She goes above and beyond in catering to guest needs and is so easy to adore 🥰 I’ve stayed in all of her listings because I just love the aesthetic of her homes that she’s created and she is the dearest most genuine pure soul 💖 Thank you again for such a warm and wonderful welcome for this month I’ve had in Carvoeira/Ericeira! Such a beautiful oasis to relax in! It was so nice having the heated pool there that the kids could swim in even when it was cold out, an 85 inch tv for movie nights, a kitchen with a SMEG orange juicer and lots of space for us to relax and enjoy. The place is in walking distance to beaches and main attractions and yet feels away from the noise. The host was super nice and responsive making sure we were having a good time. We would love to come here again sometime! :)

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

A paradise in Palmela! The pictures do not do justice to the house, live the house is much more beautiful, very welcoming with a very tasteful decoration, the garden is huge and very well treated with various stitches to be seated to enjoy ( with a small pool we did not use due to time), the very well-equipped game room where the kids spent most of their time ( and me too😁). Finally ! There are hosts and then there are Neil and Heli , we were greeted with great sympathy, I feel very welcome, always wanting us to do nothing ,tireless , and very good people ! ( Receiving people well is also an art!). Let's go back for sure ! Very lucky for Neil and Heli because they deserve it!

We had an amazing week at Lina's place! From the start, Lina was a fantastic host - super responsive and friendly. She sent us a detailed guide with tips on where to eat and explore, and every spot we tried was great! The house is cosy and private (with its own little courtyard!), with a comfy bed, a well equipped kitchen, and a spotless bathroom - perfect for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal - just a 2 minute walk to the beach and right near the heart of town. We ended up spending more time there than planned because there’s so much to do - surf schools, bike rentals, yoga classes, and fantastic bars and restaurants. The whole vibe around the house is so chilled and relaxing. Lina went above and beyond to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful week and can't wait to come back!

Our trip to Portugal from Canada was amazing, had a perfect morning walk up to the local coffee shop. Highly recommended!!

We had a great stay with Gem & Gary. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. It’s also just a few minutes walk from some amazing beaches.

The villa fit our group very well (a family of five on the top floor, a family of four on the ground floor and a couple in the garden suite). Nice to have 3 ensuites for the adults! All brand new and feather bedding plus AC was great. Pool a bit cold, but we braved it. We liked the host’s guide- the walk on the reserve was beautiful, highly recommend Balagan for a sunset meal in Ericeira and O Pescador was very sweet for a Sunday lunch. We’d add Emme for an upscale dinner in nearby Santa Isidoro and a day trip to Mafra (15 mins) for the palace & quaint rural museum enroute. (We also enjoyed Sintra and Cascais further afield.) We surfed with Blue Ocean which was a bit chaotic for the kids (very busy) so def only recommend for teenagers. Overall really happy with the stay. The house was a great base to discover Ericeira and surrounding areas.
