House vacation rentals in Sintra

Nilza is the greatest hostess. From the clear check-in instructions to the prompt and personable response throughout our stay, we could have not asked for anything more. The house is very centrally located, within walking distance to the train station and the Marginal. Nilza kindly recommended restaurants in the area and things to do. The large kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of beds and one bath upstairs, one downstairs. We received extra bed linen/towels on request as we stayed for 10nights. The water works perfectly fine, just know cold is hot and hot is cold :). The construction was not bothersome to us, as we were out of the house during the day. When my family got locked out of the house or the water was shut down due to a broken pipe in the neighborhood, Nilza responded within minutes and did everything she could to help. Also, the key to the front door works perfectly if you follow the instructions on how to insert it. Thank you, Nilza, for a wonderful experience!

Our stay at the home of Mauritius was excellent! The space is exactly as described in the listing, very comfortable and well equipped. In addition, Mauricio was extremely helpful and attentive, always ready to meet our needs and offer great local tips. Paula and Anselmo were very sympathetic and hospitable hosts, and we highly recommend their home! Communication was fast and smooth. We received a warm welcome and they told us about the surroundings with shops and restaurants. The area is quiet and we slept well, which was very important as we travelled for a triathlon race in Cascais. Thank you for a thoroughly nice stay Paula and Anselmo!

Modern 2-bedroom apartment right in the centre of Trafaria village, just a short walk to the Tejo river front and ferry to Lisbon (Belém terminal). The apartment has been renovated to a high standard and is very well equipped with everything that you need for short or even longer stays. AC is a plus in winter. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi. Convenient check-in with keypad and good communication via the app. Nice small touches like a bottle of wine, and sweets/snacks as well as condiments to cook. The apartment is pet friendly, we stayed with our medium size dog and felt very welcome.

paula was so helpful and was waiting for us when we arrived. The little cabin was extremely clean and had loads of little touches. I epecially loved the lavender on the towels very nice touch. There are a couple of restaurants walkable near by. A lovely bbq take away and a great very cheap and friendly cafe bar just around the corner. we could'nt have found a better place to spend afew days. Thank you Paula x

This is the first AirBnB host that hugged me on arrival 😂 Lisa is incredibly helpful and friendly, the apartment was spacious, within walking distance to most things, and she even left a bottle of wine for us. This place was definitely a highlight of our trip

This was an absolute dream house I deeply loved! Such a treat to enjoy this incredible home in such a perfect location in Ericeira. Gorgeous sunset views. Walkable to the beach. The coziest and beautifully designed lounge spaces. Great for working and studying or entertaining. Kitchen has everything that you need! Loved the dining room, sun room, and outdoor spaces. I’d move into this home. It has just the best energy and is perfect for families. Elizabeth is the BEST host as well! She goes above and beyond in catering to guest needs and is so easy to adore 🥰 I’ve stayed in all of her listings because I just love the aesthetic of her homes that she’s created and she is the dearest most genuine pure soul 💖 Thank you again for such a warm and wonderful welcome for this month I’ve had in Carvoeira/Ericeira! We had super nice days for four in the two pool houses. The pool is really fantastic, wonderfully warm and also super clean. The two houses are very tastefully decorated and absolutely nothing is missing. We were very pleased to be greeted with fresh oranges and cool drinks. Just great! Thank you!

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Very pleasant accommodation (although a little far away) after a hectic day sightseeing in Lisbon. Responsive and unobtrusive host. Hiking trails pass through the village, good restaurants too. Recommended without hesitation.

A paradise in Palmela! The pictures do not do justice to the house, live the house is much more beautiful, very welcoming with a very tasteful decoration, the garden is huge and very well treated with various stitches to be seated to enjoy ( with a small pool we did not use due to time), the very well-equipped game room where the kids spent most of their time ( and me too😁). Finally ! There are hosts and then there are Neil and Heli , we were greeted with great sympathy, I feel very welcome, always wanting us to do nothing ,tireless , and very good people ! ( Receiving people well is also an art!). Let's go back for sure ! Very lucky for Neil and Heli because they deserve it!

Our trip to Portugal from Canada was amazing, had a perfect morning walk up to the local coffee shop. Highly recommended!!

The villa fit our group very well (a family of five on the top floor, a family of four on the ground floor and a couple in the garden suite). Nice to have 3 ensuites for the adults! All brand new and feather bedding plus AC was great. Pool a bit cold, but we braved it. We liked the host’s guide- the walk on the reserve was beautiful, highly recommend Balagan for a sunset meal in Ericeira and O Pescador was very sweet for a Sunday lunch. We’d add Emme for an upscale dinner in nearby Santa Isidoro and a day trip to Mafra (15 mins) for the palace & quaint rural museum enroute. (We also enjoyed Sintra and Cascais further afield.) We surfed with Blue Ocean which was a bit chaotic for the kids (very busy) so def only recommend for teenagers. Overall really happy with the stay. The house was a great base to discover Ericeira and surrounding areas.

Villa Bali is a beautiful home and a short distance from many places we visited during our stay. We were given clear direction on how to access the property. The home was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The host is very kind and answered all of our questions. We will definitely visit again.

The house was amazing, close to big shops and Cascais is lovely. Pool was lovely but we didn't use it much as it wasn't too warm when we visited. Beds were comfy.
