The house is located at nice hilltop with stunning views. The road is gravel-led. Due to hilly terrain, it’s not suitable for everyone but an excellent place for someone who loves nature and trail. It rained while we were there so have to be very careful as road conditions are not good.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We love the house! The surroundings are beautiful. We even caught some fish in December. Most of our time was spent purely relaxing, and this was a perfect place for that.

Stayed here for a girls getaway weekend with some friends. It was a charming cabin and an absolutely beautiful view. Shortly after getting there we noticed the water wasn’t working. Due to the abnormally cold weeks they had been having the pipes had frozen. Once I made Rebecca aware she was on it. It wasn’t long after I contacted her she offered to move us or bring us gallons of water until the plumber could be reached. We decided to stay due to how comfortable the cabin was and the beautiful view. Rebecca had several gallons of water delivered to us, and it wasn’t long after that the plumber was there and defrosting the pipes. We were not without water for long. I could not speak highly enough on how quickly our needs were met, and how friendly everyone was. I will not only be saving this property to use again, but will intentionally look to use other properties by this host!

This was a perfect place for my family to stay and we felt right at home when we walked in. The kids loved the comfy daybeds with the trundles and we walked to the pond every day. At night the stars were incredible! We would definitely stay here again. It was spotless and everything was easy to find.

Sallie was an excellent host! The house was perfect for Christmas with my son and daughter-in-law. They stayed in the guesthouse on Christmas Eve and we had a lovely Christmas morning together. The fenced in yard is perfect for the dogs. Such a beautiful setting on the lake, and time spent on the deck absorbing the sunshine. We may have started a new tradition!

We like this area of the lake and enjoy coming during the off season. Lexington is an easy 15 minute drive away. Our main goal is usually just to relax at the water’s edge. This property was great for that. Nice fire pit-with wood provided (that’s one of the many details the owners have seen to). There is also a covered patio off the Master should weather require it. Safe, suburban area. Comfortable beds and nice linens-even some expressly for the pooch. To that point, while pets are allowed, you would never know-his cleaning crew rocks. Todd was a responsive communicator. The Husband and I would definitely recommend this property. It was a good fit for the 2 of us and our fur baby.

Fantastic cabin experience! Every night was a relaxing family game night with a variety of games and amenities to relax with one another. If you want a secluded getaway, with an amazing view of the night sky, this home is a great choice. Bonus points for the thoughtful decorations throughout the cabin. Very clean and neat with a strong attention to detail. Everything was fully stocked and well supplied. Can’t wait to go back.

This was our second time booking here! It’s the perfect size getaway for our annual family vacation. Our family enjoyed the multiple levels of porches and played a few games of pool downstairs. Very peaceful area!

Amazing place and Jodee was an amazing host

I love staying here, the views are beautiful and it’s so relaxing! There is a little nook upstairs looking out over the mountains that’s my favorite! The beds are comfortable, the house was very clean, the kitchen was stocked well and the property is fenced. Gil is awesome as well and very helpful! No complaints at all about our stay.

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

This place was the best “staycation” for us as we only live 30 minutes away but we wanted to “live the lake life” for a week! I know that lake like the back of my hand but seeing it from waking up to the sunrise on from beautiful back porch views to taking in the sunset and after dark on the dock fishing til I can’t fish anymore, nothing beats living on the lake even if it was for a week. Enjoying the lake while staying on the lake beats everything there ever could be, and this house is perfect for it! The yard is perfect for the dogs and the neighbors are so nice! The house has plenty of room for what you need as most of the time is spent outside! Loved every bit of it
