Vacation rentals with lake access in Shorewood

We were very happy with the accommodations! The smores kit, sparklers, sunscreen, bug spray, fire wood, extra propane and so much were so helpful! It was a beautiful place and we could have sat outside all day and night long!

The house location is beautiful being at a lake. The house is comfortable and well furnished. The decor is fascinating. The host, Steven, communicates very well. He left thorough instructions for using the house and appliances. He left suggestions for local restaurants and activities. The home is clean and well maintained. Parking is easy on the lot. At night the path to the rear doorway is well lit by automatic lights.

We stayed at Jane’s place for our newly minted annual thanksgiving family gathering. It was spacious, well stocked and was exactly as advertised. There was a lake within a 3 minute walk! We will definitely be considering this for our Thanksgiving spot next year!

We live in the state - but were looking for a place that was closer to all of us and that we could stay over. We wanted to cook a meal and eat together - many places we looked at said they could sleep the number we needed, but did not have enough chairs to seat everyone for dinner. Finally found this house that would work. It was perfect. The main floor is an open floor plan - we could cook and eat and enjoy each other's company together. We also were lucky to get a very nice November weekend day to enjoy the firepit. The next day we were able to go to one of the MANY MANY excellent restaurants nearby for brunch and just a few of us stayed and went out to dinner too. Very close, easy to get to. Probably could have walked if the weather was better. The extra amenities with the beverage cooler and snacks provided were great.

Amanda's place was a comfortable place to relax and enjoy some quiet time before the holidays. In addition to the amenities listed, we also enjoyed a couple beautiful sunrises over the lake and its proximity to local restaurants and coffee shops.

The area is stunning, right on the Mississippi River , we gazed at the eagles flying around all day. The back yard and view are truly priceless. There is plenty of space for everyone to play around outside. Nice area to walk around the neighborhood and within driving distance you have anything a big city can offer. Inside the home , we were comfortable and had all the essentials we needed to spend our time there. Jeff and Kelly are wonderful, helpful and responsive.

Beautiful property located on the lake with a basement to yourself with kitchen. You enter through an entrance through the back yard. Debbie is very helpful and responsive to all questions.

We do an annual multi-family trip every year around Christmas. This was a great fit for us, and being able to accommodate young children. Loved the open spaces and large windows that let in so much beautiful light! Perfect for games, tv, and relaxing. All the things we love to do on these trips. Thank you Tina!

Great spot right on the lake! Lucie was an absolute sweetheart. She baked us cookies and it looks like she bought an iron just for us because we requested one. The place is really cute and cozy and we felt so comfortable. We enjoyed drinking our coffee and catching the most beautiful sunrise over the lake this morning. Would love to come back in the summertime to utilize the lake.

fantastic stay right across from the lake. I had an emergency that left to me going to the hospital for a week and needed extension. Amin was very kind in extending my stay twice

Sydney’s home was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations!! She was very responsive to messages/questions, and we were SO comfortable! We definitely plan to stay again in the future. Thank you Sydney, your home is just lovely!

Our stay here was great. Peaceful and comfortable. Very warm despite the frigid temperatures outside. Well stocked supplies.

everything was great! the little thing you pull to turn on the shower took several tries to get it to work, but otherwise A+++! thanks Paul

The location was great. We like being by the lakes and had stayed in the Linden Hills area before. Kevin’s place is just a block from the Bde Maka Ska so there are lots of places to walk or ride your bike. There is on street parking right outside the front door. Kevin and Sue were exceptionally hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The apartment was immaculate, quiet and dark at night. The walk in shower was great. The kitchen was well equipped, although we did not use it, choosing to go out to some excellent nearby restaurants instead.

Jesse's place was so lovely! It was so clean, beautifully decorated and had so many wonderful little touches that a lot of Airbnb's are missing (like the towels were wonderful and the beds were incredibly comfortable). It really had everything we needed and was in a great location. I would love to come here again when the weather is warmer and explore the area a bit more. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area and I hope to visit again in the future!

LOVE this place! Found myself back in Minneapolis for a quick trip and luckily was able to book with Jodi again. By far my favorite place to stay when I'm in town! Great location, great space, and the place is perfect for both small groups and big! Can't wait to stay here again!!!

The house was as we expected based on the description and pictures. Neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Good experience, would stay there again.

Absolutely loved this place!!! Simply adorable and gorgeous views! The sunsets were amazing! The water was perfectly clear... very quiet area! I want to retire and move here; unfortunately, I did not win the lottery last night..LOL. We will definitely come back!! Would love to bring the grandkids; the bunkbeds are very cute!! Oh and the hosts were very responsive!!!

The cozy cottage is attractive, comfortable, clean, and quiet. It is in an excellent location, within walking distance of the lake and shops downtown. Sheri responded to all messages within minutes and was very flexible when we had to change our dates. This is a gem.

This is the second time I reserved this charming little house for visiting relatives. They absolutely loved it. Kim thoughtfully provided all the special amenities to make them feel right at home.

We had a beautiful and relaxing weekend at Laura’s. The deck has an amazing view of the lake, and was great for stargazing at night. Our kids loved watching the boats go by and playing with bubbles outside. Perfect for our weekend trip!

My family and I had the BEST time staying at Katie's place next to Lake Harriet! Katie and Curt were phenomenal and thoughtful hosts, who created a very special place to call your temporary home. Very walkable and active neighborhood with spectacular restaurants walking distance. If you're looking for a tranquil stay in Minneapolis in an amazing and convenient neighborhood, this is the place! We are missing the hot tub too!

Jordan's place was wonderful. Resting on a quiet bay of the lake it was hard to realize one was even in town. Our group was very impressed with the location, quality, attention to detail and wonderful gathering areas the property offers. Would easily reserve again. l personally loved sitting in the gazebo during a beautiful rain.
