Vacation rentals with lake access in Shorewood

We were very happy with the accommodations! The smores kit, sparklers, sunscreen, bug spray, fire wood, extra propane and so much were so helpful! It was a beautiful place and we could have sat outside all day and night long!

We stayed just two nights, but the place was cozy. I loved the memory lane experience of items that decorated the place. This is a quiet hideaway that makes it possible to unplug and just decompress from life. The lake was frozen and beautiful all at the same time.

We stayed at Jane’s place for our newly minted annual thanksgiving family gathering. It was spacious, well stocked and was exactly as advertised. There was a lake within a 3 minute walk! We will definitely be considering this for our Thanksgiving spot next year!

The area is stunning, right on the Mississippi River , we gazed at the eagles flying around all day. The back yard and view are truly priceless. There is plenty of space for everyone to play around outside. Nice area to walk around the neighborhood and within driving distance you have anything a big city can offer. Inside the home , we were comfortable and had all the essentials we needed to spend our time there. Jeff and Kelly are wonderful, helpful and responsive.

We had family come to Fridley for a one year grandbaby birthday, and this place was amazing even in the dead of winter and 0°. I can’t imagine how cool it would be to be at this place during a warmer month well equipped very fun and a whole room for the one year-old packed with toys. Great grandma even did a snow angel after a hot tub. Spacious, well equipped, and great views. Highly recommend this location.

Great spot right on the lake! Lucie was an absolute sweetheart. She baked us cookies and it looks like she bought an iron just for us because we requested one. The place is really cute and cozy and we felt so comfortable. We enjoyed drinking our coffee and catching the most beautiful sunrise over the lake this morning. Would love to come back in the summertime to utilize the lake.

This was a very nice place for me and my mother to stay while visiting family and going to activities in the area. The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished and decorated, and super clean. It was easy to park and get into the apartment and "walker friendly" for my mother. Andrew was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the spring flower show at the MN arboretum and lunch at Maynard's in Exelsior. The home is adjacent to highway 7, so there is some traffic noise, but that was not a problem for us.

Amin was an awesome host! It was a last minute booking for myself after having to vacate my place due to a fire. Amin was quick to respond and get the booking confirmed and I was able to check in asap! They were super respectful, kind and the rental was perfect for what I needed. I loved the amenities, open living area/space, multiple places to either work, do some designing/crafting or just sit back and watch movies. The bathroom and shower were spot on. The bedroom and the bed were perfect, especially for anyone who needs complete darkness during the day if you work odd hours as well. Was nice to be able to park inside due to it being winter, but was able to still get out with my dog and walk around the lake! Which my dog misses already. We went and walked and played with other dogs on the lake actually when it was snowing! Washer/dryer/dish washer all were awesome as well! I would totally stay there again or recommend it to family/friends year round! Close to everything too!

This was our third stay. We always come back. It is right downtown white bear lake with great shopping and great restaurants and a block away from the lake with a walking trail. It’s beautiful anytime of the year.

Christina’s place was great. Very close to the ice castles which was the reason we were there. I lost my hair tie at the ice castles and was lucky enough that Christina has some available in the bathroom. Thanks!

everything was great! the little thing you pull to turn on the shower took several tries to get it to work, but otherwise A+++! thanks Paul

The location was great. We like being by the lakes and had stayed in the Linden Hills area before. Kevin’s place is just a block from the Bde Maka Ska so there are lots of places to walk or ride your bike. There is on street parking right outside the front door. Kevin and Sue were exceptionally hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The apartment was immaculate, quiet and dark at night. The walk in shower was great. The kitchen was well equipped, although we did not use it, choosing to go out to some excellent nearby restaurants instead.

This house was brimming with charm and character! It is an old building which has been beautifully renovated and decorated in a minimalistic Scandinavian design. We could walk to a lake, many restaurants, and coffee shops in the morning. Jesse and his team had the house ready for us and we walked in to soft jazz playing and a personalized welcome note in the kitchen. Everything was perfect.

Laura is such a thoughtful and gracious host! The carriage house is absolutely charming - bright, spacious, peaceful, and private. I felt extremely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. A perfect cozy winter weekend hideaway!

Jessica was a great host, very responsive and friendly. She checked in, brought us more coffee and the house was great for a family group. Quiet neighborhood, great view of the lake, comfy beds and furniture. The location was good for us visiting relatives near Ridgedale. We will return. Thank you Jessica.

Our time at Rachel and Jacob’s cabin was as advertised…a comfortable cabin with clean rooms, all listed amenities and a quiet location for our time in MN. The frozen lake complete with fish houses and other winter activities was enjoyable to watch and we hope to return to participate in the summer offerings sometime in the future. J&J

We absolutely LOVED this place! It’s really really calm, quiet and cozy! The view is beautiful, you’ll feel right at home. The kitchen has everything you would need, the mattress is amazing, clean bedding, the bathroom had hot water, very clean and with a lot of towels. Just like we needed. Would be definitely coming back!

Absolutely loved this place!!! Simply adorable and gorgeous views! The sunsets were amazing! The water was perfectly clear... very quiet area! I want to retire and move here; unfortunately, I did not win the lottery last night..LOL. We will definitely come back!! Would love to bring the grandkids; the bunkbeds are very cute!! Oh and the hosts were very responsive!!!

This was my second stay with Sheri. The cozy cottage is great. I stayed there alone but had family visiting every day and occasionally someone would stay overnight upstairs. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooked meals. The furnishings are comfortable. The location provides easy access to the lake, walking trails, and the amenities of downtown White Bear.

This is the second time I reserved this charming little house for visiting relatives. They absolutely loved it. Kim thoughtfully provided all the special amenities to make them feel right at home.

We had a beautiful and relaxing weekend at Laura’s. The deck has an amazing view of the lake, and was great for stargazing at night. Our kids loved watching the boats go by and playing with bubbles outside. Perfect for our weekend trip!
