House vacation rentals in Shaver Lake

We enjoyed our quick stay at Guillermos. The house was beautiful and complete with utensils and cooking essential. If you like rice though and don’t know how to cook it in the pot we suggest bring your own small rice cooker:p. It was easy to order Instacart for groceries you will need just in case. The pool was amazing. The kids enjoyed it the most even if it was freezing cold. It didn’t stop us to enjoy it. Only thing is if you are afraid of spiders and scorpions which is unavoidable because of the location, please bring your own bug killer. We sprayed as soon as we saw a scorpion and kept spraying every morning and we did not have any problem at all. The kids actually enjoyed seeing a scorpion for the first time. Aside from that we love the place and hoping to book again in the near future. Thank you again Guillermo.

Our family loved the house and the location was private and peaceful! We spend 2 days exploring Yosemite which wasn't far. We extended our trip on the last day and Beth was quick to respond to our request. We wished we could have stayed longer.

This was by far the best Airbnb experience we’ve had! The owner has thought of absolutely everything to ensure guests feel comfortable and well-informed. The house is beautifully organized, and every room is labeled, making it incredibly easy to navigate. Plus, the owner has created helpful video instructions for everything—from how to operate the appliances to where to find extra supplies—so we never had to wonder about anything. On top of that, they’ve put together their own website with fantastic local recommendations, which helped us discover some hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. The owner is available 24/7 and made us feel like we could reach out at any time for assistance, though everything was so well-prepared that we hardly needed to. Truly, every detail was taken care of, and it made for an unforgettable stay. Highly recommend this home—it’s clear the owner puts so much effort into making sure their guests have a seamless, stress-free experience!

My family and I had a fantastic stay! The house is immaculate and the amenities were terrific. We had a blast in the hot tub and our pets really enjoyed all the free space to run around. To top it off, Chris is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Leslie’s place was really great and in close enough proximity to Yosemite, especially if you want to get to Mariposa Grove. It has the capacity to host a lot of people, and it’s great for a family gatherings. The property was clean and inviting and served as a wonderful home base for our short getaway from Los Angeles. Highly recommend.

The Stewart family providing a very welcoming vacation house. We spent 3 nights at the house around Thanksgiving with two families, totaling 8 persons. It fitted us all very comfortably. There are many games and activities to do around the house. Our kids spent MANY hours outside on the huge trampoline in the front of the house, and playing with the foosball table inside the house. We also played soccer and baseball on the baseball field behind the house. So much fun! One day we made a roadtrip to Yosemite, which was a beautiful scenic 1.5hr drive away. The grownups and young-ones all enjoyed the hot tub under the very clear nightly starry sky! Wow so many stars!! We definitely recommend this house for group gatherings! The only downside we could think of was that there are no curtains installed in any of the bedrooms.

We recently stayed at this beautiful, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The cabin itself was stunning - spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. What really set it apart, though, was how well-stocked it was. The hosts went above and beyond compared to most Airbnbs, providing everything we could possibly need and more. From the fully equipped kitchen to the little extras like towels, toiletries, and local tips, they thought of everything. It made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. I wish the fireplaces worked, but they did let us know they wouldn’t work before we got there. I’d say this cabin has raised the bar for what we’ll look for in future Airbnbs. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer! We’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-appointed retreat. Also shout out to the tub in the master bedroom. It’s the biggest bath tub I’ve ever seen!

It’s always nice to feel right at home and start relaxing as soon as you walk in the door. We went to Yosemite for a few day trips and then used the hot tub to wind down afterwards. The kids loved the Bunk beds and there was plenty of space to explore and find mushrooms and bugs. Lots of cozy blankets kept us warm with our favorite movies on the couch. The local towns have plenty of shops and fun places to enjoy too. Would love to come back and visit again soon.

Regina’s place was truly exceptional. It was such a welcoming, clean, and immensely comfortable house — we felt so at home here. There was so much space and the home had such great attention to detail. The backyard was beautiful, and we even had a quick mini photo shoot there since it was so pretty. We came during summer time, so didn’t make use of the hot tub since it was really hot outside, but it seemed really nice for the cooler days. There is also a jacuzzi/tub indoors in the master suite as well, which was really nice even during the summer, since the entire home is very well air conditioned. The kitchen was fully stocked and had almost anything you could possibly need. There was also a plethora of board games, as well as a pool table, so there was so much to do just within the house itself. Regina was also a pleasure to work with and overall was a 10/10 experience. Note: AT&T service was good, but t-mobile was spotty in that area. But once we were in the house, the wifi alleviated any signal issues, so we didn’t have any problems.

This is a great place, in the best location, and the hosts were thoughtful with recommendations. The space was clean and amazing as advertised.

A beautiful place with a beautiful backyard with places for activities and lots of space for the 7 of us on our trip to Yosemite! The town is small and a little ways away for quick grocery shopping but is friendly and lively! A perfect place for any vacation for the mountains and would happily recommend this for anyone! Would definitely come here again!

It was a cozy and comfortable stay! Easy check in and out, well equipped kitchen. We love the bright, open living room and parking space just in front of the property. Nice views as well, as this house is sitting at the hilltop, with deer sightings everyday (I guess they just live around the area).

It was such a pleasure to stay here!! My kids and family really enjoyed the property!! There were so much things to do and so much space for everyone! We loved the place and will be looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommended!!!

Really cute and cozy home with a nice fireplace. Mark was very helpful and friendly. So many animals! My daughter loved playing with them. Hot tub was clean and ready for us to relax in. Would love to return in the summertime.

Felipe’s home in Oakhurst was absolutely stunning. It fit my large family and I very comfortably. From the pool table to the hot tub we always had something to do. Very child friendly as well! So many toys were available for my niece and nephew which was awesome!

Very clean home felt very welcoming, Me and a couple buddies went for a trip for china peak the drive from the cabin to china peak was a short 40 minute drive very peaceful.

This is an extremely unique place in a secluded location with fantastic views. Great place to unwind and disconnect. Hosts were extremely responsive, friendly, and willing to assist.

I’ve traveled to 30 countries, but Sandy’s house was the coziest and cleanest I’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful house and surroundings. Perfect for a couple or a family planning to visit Yosemite.

We LOVE this cozy home right by the lake. It has everything you need! Great views and walking distance to a semi private beach area & dock. The house is clean and has all the amenities you would need for a family vacation. The swamp coolers keep the place cool, even in very hot weather. We cannot wait to go back!
