Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Shaver Lake

it was a really nice stay, the rooms were super cozy. living room was huge!! great for friends going to trips together, the hottub was so nice as well! around 1.5hr drive to trails in yosemite, really convenient!

Great location and beautiful house for family and dogs! Holiday festive touches, provided kitchen essentials (s&p, oil, pans, knives, spatula, etc), and a relaxing & clean hot tub made our vacation so wonderful! Only 5 minutes to Oakhurst and 30 minutes to South Gate of Yosemite. About 1 hour drive to Yosemite Valley popular sites (Yosemite visitor's center, etc). My dog loved having the entire, fenced in, 1 acre yard to explore. The backyard is not separately fenced from the front yard, so be sure to close the red driveway gate in front before letting out your dog. Fun learning how to start a fire in their wood burning stove, which keeps the house warm and cozy. Would definitely return here! Note: there are 3 steps from the driveway down to the front door, otherwise house is 1 level.

Maja’s place is an absolutely gem! Our best AirBnB experience for sure. The house is gorgeous, spacious and family friendly! We loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub and fire pit. Maja is very responsive and checks in often - we really appreciated that! We can’t wait to come back!

It was such a pleasure to stay here!! My kids and family really enjoyed the property!! There were so much things to do and so much space for everyone! We loved the place and will be looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommended!!!

I can’t rave about this place enough! The house is very comfortable, well stocked with amenities, and Jim is very kind and helpful. The wilds animals roaming about is an added bonus! I highly recommend staying here if you can!!

One of the best Air Bnb’s I’ve stayed in! Clean, beautiful home and had so much to offer. Won’t ever forget this beautiful place :) Very close to the entrance of the park as well! About an hour to an hour and a half to Yosemite village in the park

I booked, then checked in and due to my work schedule, I had to quickly move on to another area. But before I knew this the host was very responsive and helpful and was even willing to help accommodate a few things to better help with my schedule but unfortunately, I had to go to another area to be closer to my project site. But most importantly, she understood the situation and offered me a full refund without any issues or questions asked! Most hosts would have hassled me and only offer me a partial refund but because I only had a chance to sit down at the table before having to relocate and was communicative, it never even became a thing! I wish things would have worked out better work wise, but this place is definitely a place to consider if you're not limited to a crazy work schedule! Having an amazing host that is willing to go over and beyond just so you have a better experience is a must! Thank you for the top-notch hospitality when you very easily could have not been!

What a great little find! We got so lucky. This cozy Bear Cave is off the main drag in a quiet neighborhood. It is a basement unit so there’s only a couple windows but did not feel claustrophobic at all. Perfectly appointed space for 2 and maybe a kid on the couch. It shares one wall with another unit and you can hear people moving around above you, but it was not disturbing. We had trouble with the key pad but messaged Stormy and within 5 minutes we had a solution. Everything was clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and stay again! Highly recommend!

We had a very relaxing in time here! After working long hours in Big Creek we always looked forward to arriving to a quiet comfortable living space. Kitchen was very well prepared with cooking utensils and was huge plus for those that prefer cooking than going out and dining. Definitely look forward to booking again.

Cabin is cozy, warm and clean. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfortable. We had a great stay!

Beautiful place Peaceful and cozy alot of fun activities to do and really close to the Yosemite south entrance so you can always pop in and check out beautiful views and then come back n relax with a bonfire at the airbnb

We loved our little family weekend getaway at The Snickerdoodle! It was the coziest and most charming cabin, nestled in the hills of Bass Lake. The property is super close to beautiful hiking trails, restaurants/bars and antique shops (my favorite). It was fun to explore the local areas, but our favorite memories were really made at the cabin. While we were there, we were lucky to experience the sunshine and cool/crisp mountain air, as well as a mild thunder and snow storm that definitely served as a reminder of the beautiful nature that surrounded us. There is no question how much love and detail that the owners put into every single nook and cranny, indoor and out. If you stay there, take a look at the amazing photo album documenting the progression of the Snickerdoodle build. And don’t be afraid to leave a Polaroid of your pup on the cork board in the kitchen! 🐝❤️📸

Very thoughtful cabin and hosts, loved our stay. Clean, roomy, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, great location. Neighbors were a little closer then imagined but it was very quiet and still private. Creek running through was peaceful to listen to while drinking your morning coffee before heading into the park. Groceries were about 20 mins away and the cabin had everything we needed to prepare our food. Highly recommend.

You won’t find a better Airbnb hostess. Her communications were clear and responses to my questions were quick. Cindy provided all of the basics to make our stay comfortable. The cabin was in excellent condition and the beds were comfortable. Quiet “neighborhood “ was very peaceful. We had a lovely, relaxing get away.

The entire experience was extremely comfortable and seamless from start to finish! Fantastic communication and accommodations from our host.

NOTHING can BEAT the VIEW! It’s a perfect home for a bigger family. SPACIOUS, SERENE, PRIVATE, CLEAN AND THE VIEW. The hosts are great and very generous with their house. They’ gave their 100% to make us feel right at home. THE GAME ROOM is just perfect for kids and us adults as well. We definitely recommend the house for all the families without a second thought. Comfy, cozy little cabin, not too far from China. Peak was exactly what we needed a place to rest our heads after hitting the slopes for the day. The house was very sweet love snacks for us and gave us privacy as needed.
