A lovely stay at Eduarda’s new chalet. Great character house and she was also very accommodating. Great views and walks and can order home cooked meals. Hoping to return in not too long.

If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and secluded getaway surrounded by nature, this place is absolutely perfect. I loved my weekend escape – even though it was freezing outside, the house was super cozy and warm inside. The only thing to keep in mind is being careful not to overload the generator, but honestly, that was a small detail in an otherwise amazing stay. We felt very comfortable in the Wood House Douro. The view is beautiful and you are in a quiet place to relax. If you don't necessarily need the beach around the corner and want to enjoy a quiet time in nature, this AirBnB is perfect. A rental car would be recommended to visit and explore the big cities nearby. All in all a very nice experience and highly recommended.
