Magdalena is a welcoming, kind and very professional person. Whenever I had a request or a few small issues, they intervened in a timely manner to resolve it. It was a pleasure to meet you! :) The farmhouse is clean and tidy, two fundamental characteristics for me, and the stone walls allow you to always have cool inside (a very important thing with the temperatures of August). The space is ideal for a couple or a single like me, and there's everything you need to be on your own. Il Casale is located in a mountain area, this is a plus that allows you to sleep in a rural context and really get away from the city. A short distance away is Spoleto, and other places, for example Norcia. A few minutes away there are amenities (supermarket and parapharmacy) and if you love to hike, there is the Sibillini Mountains National Park, and most of the routes can be reached in a short drive. I will definitely visit Magdalena and the dog Chico again:)

We had a good time with Doriana. She was available to change the check-in time to go against our needs, she also suggested some places to see and where to eat. A tip for those who stay in those areas: download the offline map to get around because satellite coverage is not guaranteed.

Very kind host. The location, although apparently isolated, allows you to reach many beautiful Umbrian locations. The house is basic, but cozy and satisfying. Great experience!
