Vacation rentals in Sassi di Matera

It was a great location once you find it. You can go up and it’s a short walk. We went down so we got lost. Do yourself a favor go into the sassi and just go. You always come back up without climbing it’s amazing. We slept so good in the cave. Super comfy and lots of space.

Great place to stay for a day trip to Matera. Just a short walk from great restaurants, shopping and the Sassi. Was perfect for us!

Eustachio and Benedetto were wonderful hosts. They were generous and responsive during our 7 night stay. I would unreservedly recommend their beautiful house to anyone wanting to stay in Matera.

The place is in great condition, new furniture and well cleaned. The kitchenette had herbal teas and coffee and more. The cleanliness of the property and in detail excellent rooms and bathrooms. Great hospitality and contacts with the host before our arrival, and during our stay were quick and wide-ranging. The property is located on the main pedestrian street of Sasso Caveoso from which you can easily reach other places. I highly recommend this home.

Luciano’s place is perfect for a visit to Matera. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The view was stunning. The reserved parking made life very easy. And the breakfasts a nice bonus. Luciano is a very friendly and super efficient. It was great that he met us at the parking lot and showed us all we needed to know. Highly recommend.

Apartment in excellent condition for order and cleanliness. I only stayed for one night with my family and we had a great time, very close to the Sassi, which can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. The host was impeccable. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment in the Materano promenade area and great as a base for exploring the most important areas from a historical and artistic point of view. The apartment was very comfortable for us who are a family with 3 children. We were pleasantly surprised to find everything we needed to make great breakfasts (milk, yogurt, cookies, tea, coffee, herbal teas).

The view from the balcony of the room is breathtaking, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset, with the wonderful view that extends below you. The bathroom is spacious and impeccably clean, a detail I really appreciated. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect rest after a day of exploring the Sassi. The apartment is well cared for and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I'll definitely be back!
