The place is great and Miyumi is a great host!

We stayed for 12 days.It was clean and we had a pleasant time as pictured.There is also a supermarket right next to the station, making it convenient.You can access Osaka and Kyoto without changing trains.If you don't have luggage, Hankyu Settsu Station is also within walking distance.I was able to respond quickly to questions and feel comfortable staying.The sound of cars coming and going and the construction work in front of me was heard in advance, and earplugs were provided, which was helpful.

I had a great time staying in Hirano. Everyone I talked to was super friendly (I speak some Japanese, I didn’t meet anyone in the neighborhood who spoke any English, but that was what I had hoped for). About a 15 minute walk to the station and then a 20-30 minute ride to most of Osaka’s popular spots. If you want to stay right in the middle of a quiet Japanese neighborhood, this will be a great spot for you.

I cannot fault Seifan, it’s the most beautiful home in the heart of Kyoto. Traditional style Japanese home but with modern amenities. The beds were comfortable and the rooms with adequate space. Had all the facilities to wash our clothes too which was great considering this was just one leg of the trip. Well stocked with kitchen items and appliances clearly explained with English translation. The host also gifted us some crockery and art, which was very special and kind. I’d 100% return.
