Beachfront vacation rentals in San José Island

Cozy little place within a 5min walk to the beach. Many restaurants and things to do nearby. The host was so nice, checked in and would promptly respond to my text. Will definitely be going back!

Would gladly stay again! Becky was so kind and helpful. We stayed in “the anchor” and found the open-concept porch space to be our favorite; it was an extension of our little house! We ate our meals on the porch, enjoyed our coffee outside, read out in the sun, played bean bag toss, had somewhere for our pup to run around, and enjoyed visiting with our neighbors. We cooked all our meals for the week in THE best stocked kitchen we have ever encountered (we’ve stayed in 50+ air b n bs). The walk to the beach is an easy block down the road and perfect for a group with folks who want to beach all day or walk back and forth. This was our first visit to Port A so I at first was skeptical renting a place without a beach view but turns out that most homes don’t really have a “view” due to the dunes. But… The view here at Dancing Dunes is of a beautifully landscaped garden! Knowing that what I know now, I would book again in a heart beat!

Had an amazing stay in this unit! Awesome location overlooking the canal which is super relaxing at sunrise/sunset. The inside is extremely clean and roomy, perfect for a small family stay. Shawn was very communicative throughout our stay which always helps. We’ll definitely be back !

Amazing Stay on Padre Island! I recently rented a townhouse in Corpus Christi on Padre Island, and it was an incredible experience! The location was perfect—just minutes from the beach, great restaurants, and local attractions. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway spot. The townhouse itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and responsive, ensuring everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. It was wonderful to be so close to the water. The space was just enough for me and my girls and my fur girls. It was easy access for my fur girls to go out for restroom breaks or early walks by the water.

Great location! Informed us of unexpected maintenance at the unit next to us before we arrived so we could plan. We had a relaxing couple of days at the beach and hardly noticed the maintenance! Highly recommend!

Beautiful place to stay. All the decor felt inviting. The house was extremely clean and the community was very friendly. Getting to the beach was a bit tricky just because you have to go in between house but easy to follow once you see the trail. Travis was a wonderful host and answered all my questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay there again.

We felt right at home in the very clean condo, comfy beds and nice linens, plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen and very pretty, comfortable and sturdy furniture! This floor plan worked great for our very large, 4 generation family! Mark and Rose are very kind and attentive hosts and we hope to stay again!

We can go Port Aransas to unwind and get away from it all. Gilbert’s place offered such a unique comfort experience to do exactly that. Gilbert was a very gracious host, reaching out for anything we may need. We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. We loved the easy access to the beach. And the location is very convenient to activities in Port A. The place had everything we needed and was very clean. Easy check in and check out. Hoping we can stay again soon!

The place was beautiful and as described. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Kitchen and the view from the kitchen was amazing. We had a small issue in using the washing machine/ dryer but the host was very responsive and courteous in addressing the issue immediately. We had a great stay and will definitely recommend this place

The place was really well appointed and had everything a family of five needed. It is right next to the beach and it’s an easy walk or drive. Shops and restaurants are a short drive away. Very beautiful surroundings and enjoyed the oversized deck. We had a great stay.

Great place with good view. Place is clean and very comfortable with good amenities and furnishings. Jay is a great host, responsive and communicate proactively. I highly recommend this place if you want a quiet relaxing place to rest and wind down after a day at the beach. A++

The house was perfect size for our family and located in a peaceful spot. The pool and hot tub were right across the street from the house and the first floor garage made everything so convenient when leaving and returning from the beach. Michael was great about arranging maintenance when the hot tub broke down during our stay, and contacted us to let it know when it was operational again. We will be back! We had a super relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed the place so much, we've almost got our next trip to Mark's booked. Exactly what we needed for a peaceful, restful, delicious food, four day get away. Mark's place is terrific - highly recommended. Even the goodies in welcome bag were helpful.

Beautiful, well kept place. Lots of space with great furniture and thoughtfully provided supplies. Great beach access with convenient access. Night time on the 3rd floor balcony with the sound of the ocean was so peaceful. Kitchen is phenomenal. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

Great location - right on the beach, pool right outside the door, concrete path that runs along the beach if you want to walk without getting sandy, and short drive to fun restaurants. The condo was very clean and had all the necessities. The beds were very comfortable! Our kids enjoyed running between the beach and the pool. Also enjoyed some fun and unique local restaurants - The Angry Marlin, Island Joe's, Padre Island Burger Company, Kilates, Rock and Rolls Sushi - All were outstanding! Thanks for a fun vacation!
