We highly recommend this home! The apartment is clean and offers a spacious bathroom and a kitchen equipped with everything you need. We were particularly impressed by the large, beautiful terrace, which is perfect for relaxing. The beach is only about a 5-minute walk away, and the pool is also very nice. Communication with the landlady was quick and very pleasant! The place is quiet, but at the same time very well connected – the bus stop is minutes away. We had a very nice vacation and can well imagine coming back. Thanks for a great stay!

very peaceful

Quiet and peaceful complex within a short walk of all of the local amenities. Perfect apartment for a couple, nice and clean with enough in the kitchen to eat in; the sea food from the Mercadona was great! Onelia was always responsive on the Airbnb chat and popped in a couple of times to drop some new Sun bed cushions and check all was ok. 2nd time we have stayed here and it hopefully will not be the last! Gracias!

We stayed four nights here and would absolutely recommend Delia’s place to anyone visiting Gran Canaria. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. The host was very helpful and prompt in her communications. Check-in was easy and all instructions were very clear. They had made the unit feel very welcoming with water/drinks in the fridge, fruit and other snacks upon our arrival. The rooftop terrace and jacuzzi were an absolute treat and served as a private place to kick back and enjoy the sun. Arinaga is ideally located near the airport but has the appeal of a quiet residential seaside town with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes to visit. For us it was a perfect base of operations for day trips to other parts of the island to visit the many beaches/hikes.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place with it's own private garden/outside area to relax and enjoy the sun in. The apartment was pretty much as shown in the pictures, we have almost nothing to critique, only thing we could mention was that you have to nudge the dishwasher a bit to be able to open the cupboard with the pans. The outside area were we spent most of the time lounging was very nice, sunbeds to lie on, a table and chairs to eat breakfast in the sun, and a sofa area to sit in the shade when the sun gets too hot. The pool is not for swimming, but it lets you cool down. There is a larger pool 30 meters from the front door in the common area if you want to go swimming. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. Be aware that there is a bit of a hilly walk to get anywhere, town, beach, groceries, etc. so it might be a good idea to rent a car, but taxis are relatively cheap also. We loved it. Would stay there again.

We stayed in Amalia’s apartment for just under a week over New Year’s. This is a lovely place to stay, we were four people and found it comfortable and peaceful (except New Year’s Eve which was understandably noisy!). The views across the roofs of Aguimes towards the church towers are glorious to wake to and the terrace is a nice space to enjoy afternoon sun (in Dec/Jan) and listen to the sounds of the town. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was helpful to be in town with a few shops, including a sweet little health food/complementary therapies centre, just round the corner. There are also two well-stocked supermarkets 5mins away in Ingenio. Aguimes is charming to explore and you can either drive up the mountain for hiking or down to the beach for swimming. Amalia was very helpful with our questions and couple of requests which we really appreciated.

We loved our time at Ana's apartment. The bottle of wine on arrival and water in the fridge was a nice touch. The apartment is small but nicely decorated and has everything you need. It was really well equipped and thought out, plenty of detergent and soaps etc, spare towels. Even a cool bag and ice blocks if you want to take some drinks and snacks to the beach. The location was really convenient, you're minutes away from a beach, then across the rocks you have another beach (golden sand). The small complex over the road has a good size Spar supermarket, and a selection of restaurants, bars and a coffee shop. Bus stops in both directions are just outside the apartment with easy access to Porto Mogan and the other resorts and beaches. Ana was also helpful in accommodating us with a later check out time. We would happily stay here again.

The Airbnb’s location in the whole complex was very great. The pool was fantasic. Great community.

Everything was as good as it promised. Lovely kitchen, comfy beds, we were on first floor, good minimarket downstairs, nice basic cafe at the heated pool and was a 5 minute walk across road to main shopping centre. Look forward to returning.

Our stay at Franc's was just perfect! Franc is an exceptionally friendly and helpful host. Upon arrival, he warmly welcomed us and provided us with numerous great tips for activities and restaurants in the area. The place was spotlessly clean and really excellently equipped – there was nothing missing! We can fully recommend this place and Franc as a host and will be happy to come back!

We spent 7 nights in the apartment. Since our plane landed late in the evening, and renting a car and getting to the location took some time, we arrived quite late. GPS guided us to the town very nicely, but for some reason directed us to the wrong house on the correct street. The host explained to us in messages how to reach the right house. We were warmly welcomed, snacks and sandwich materials were on the table for a light meal. The location is excellent for those who prefer a more peaceful vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city and crowded beaches. It is also a good central location for visiting all the natural beauty spots on the island. Cafes and a grocery store are just a few minutes away. Finding a parking spot is easiest during the daytime on nearby streets just a few minutes from the apartment. Parking is also allowed in the old town but only from 20:00 to 08:00. We really enjoyed staying in this apartment.

amazing place can't recommend enough

Apartament is super clean, spacious, well equiped, with comfortable beds. We were welcomed with some treats. Host was incredibly kind and helpful, got us gifts for new year's eve and helped us to arrange transportation to our next destination. Apartament is located few steps away from the beach and next to a nice cafe. Highly recommend!

After hiking in the mountains, I wanted a location to travel from north to south: it's ideal, with the beach to settle down after a day of walking. What is noteworthy is the welcome and all the attention when we arrived: what kindness. You have everything you need in the house.

This was our 2nd visit to Playa del Aguilia which is quiet and peaceful between San Augustin and Bahia Feliz. Daniele and Katie's place is a most comfortable well furnished and maintained one bedroom apartment in a beautiful quiet gardened development with a view of the fine pool and the ocean beyond. Katie met us upon arrival and on our departure and was so friendly and helpful. Fivel stars all round!

We did a hiking and motorbike vacation. The apartment was with two bedrooms and a bathroom suitable for two married couples who get along well. Fantastic location in the mountains. Ideal for hiking and motorcycling, the fun starts right outside the front door. Courteous and unobtrusive service. Good and safe storage for the car and the motorbikes. A real recommendation.

Gabriele's welcome was incredible, he even had some details prepared for the kids and us and helped us with everything we needed. Regarding the apartment, its location is excellent, up the street a little and you are on the beach. The urbanization is very well cared for and clean as well as the pool area and the apartment has everything you need, it is very well equipped. If I had to go back to the island I would repeat for sure.
