The Millhouse was a perfect start to our vacation, a cozy fire welcomed us after a long journey and the dinner we requested was outstanding! The location is serene and beautiful, our hosts Francisca and Enrique took really good care of us. Place is true to pictures and description and we couldn't ask for anything more!

It was a shame to have only stayed one night, as this was one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The house is quite spacious, comfortable and is in the center of Lamego. Mr. Manuel was very friendly, who even left us a ball of traditional meat and a great Port wine, produced by his father. I will definitely recommend it!

We stayed for 6 nights and throughly enjoyed the accommodations and recommendations provided by Vasco and Jose- amazing hospitality! The wine tasting right after check in was fantastic- excellent value and great family wine- would have purchased if we were checking bags back to US. Little touches in the room such as a chess board fully stocked kitchen tools really made the difference in our stay as we explored the D’Ouro Valley. The bells from the church were quite loud but after a few days got used to it. 100% recommend.
