the cottage was beautiful with lots of little quirky items. perfect little get away location. one of, if not the best place we have stayed. anita and Bruce were incredibly responsive the whole time, they left us bread and a packet of mini rolls. 100% recommend.

Absolutely stunning accomodation. The views are mesmerising and the surrounding area is incredibly peaceful. Ruth has obviously put in a great deal of effort to make her guest house beautifully comfortable, fresh and inviting. Lots of little touches, friendly and helpful hosting went a long way to make our trip very special. Thank you.

Beautiful home, exactly as described in the ad. Sarah was a wonderful and very helpful host. All bedding and furnishings were very clean and beds were comfortable. I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. Cosy Hideaway is the perfect description for this lovely flat. Mary has been a perfect host. Her communication has been both prompt and very welcoming. The flat was beautifully presented and very clean. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. My visit was in winter and the flat was very easy to heat. The location is fantastic too. Right in the centre of the lovely little town of Alston.
