Anna and Tim have created a truly unbelievable getaway home that’s even nicer than the photos. Not only is it absolutely breathtaking, but they’re as good hosts as we could have asked for. They were very easy to communicate with, were happy to answer all questions quickly, and even went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with bonus things that were not expected but were very nice and thoughtful for them to include. We even had the pleasure of running into them once or twice and they were nothing but friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The house itself was immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable and large, and all amenities were provided. The view and serenity were amazing, and it was still only 15 minutes from the main city. This is one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in and we can’t wait to find a reason to come back!

Our stay at Acton Park_Eagle Retreat was simply incredible! The peaceful bushland setting, breathtaking ocean views, and abundance of wildlife made for a truly magical experience. Waking up to wallabies outside the window was unforgettable. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with a cozy king-sized bed, comfy chairs, and a stocked kitchen with thoughtful touches like Tasmanian honey and Vegemite. The bathroom was luxurious, and the walk-in wardrobe provided plenty of space. We loved the surrounding nature—spotting wildlife, enjoying the fresh air, and hiking to the hilltop for stunning 360-degree views. The location offers the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to Hobart and wineries. Our host was fantastic, ensuring a smooth check-in. While the driveway is steep, it’s part of the adventure! If you’re seeking a private, luxurious escape in Tasmania’s wild beauty, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!
