We loved staying at Clare’s shepherds hut. The hut was beautiful, cosy and comfortable, it has everything you need to feel at home. We also loved the local pub! Hope to stay again one day :)

I had a wonderful few days at Christine's Garden Room - so much so that I have booked a future stay. The space felt like so much more than she had advertised. As well as finding that the property matched the description Christine provided, I felt like I'd come to a sanctuary - so peaceful, restful, clean and cosy. Both Christine and her husband Peter, were very friendly and helpful. I would unhesitatingly recommend this location for anyone wanting a peaceful stay, within easy walking distance from the centre of Lewes, as well as being right on the edge of the South Downs, opposite public footways into the beautiful surroundings. I stayed for a few days while working and seeing friends nearby - the place was perfect! Very easy to find, Ruth was responsive and provided clear instructions, the place itself was clean and comfortable and parking was a real bonus. Would happily recommend to others and will be returning again soon.

This was a cosy flat that was perfect for staying with our toddler when we were visiting local family. It was very clean and the host was very responsive and helpful. The drive is a bit hard to manoeuvre if you aren’t the most confident driver / have a big car but we got by with my husband driving 😄 (not me!).
