Places to stay in Rockville

The Goat-el is a quiet paradise for animal lovers. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Jack the Goat, four cats, and some chickens. One of the cats hopped right up on my leg as I knelt to pet Jack and demanded some attention of her own. The goats watched us from their nearby pen until we went over to scratch them as well. We stayed in the authentic century-old barn, which served at one time as a speakeasy. It was perfectly clean and welcoming, and our host offered to let us hold 2 week old baby goats. We did, and they were content and happy to be held. We were surprised at how doglike some of the goats were. Even though we were only there two nights, we learned something of their personalities. It was a great stay and we hope to visit again in the future.

A good value, clean, spacious, 1980’s vintage stay with easy access to Bloomington. Safe neighborhood and wonderful hosts.

I really enjoyed my stay at Deb's! It was quiet, safe, clean and lovely. It was the perfect place to rest after a long and stressful drive. I recommend it highly and hope to return when I pass through again. Thank you for such a nice place to rest!! Having a biscuit with maple syrup from the farm and watching the deer is an added delight.

Cute little home perfect for a few days spent in Terre Haute. The living room was very comfortable during our downtime, and we had all the necessary amenities needed for our stay. The house was very clean and they’ve done a good job making this older home feel comfortable. The only feedback we had was that the shower never got quite as hot as we would have liked and the beds were a bit hard. Regardless we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

This cabin is a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle. The surrounding grounds were beautiful. We loved the little trail in the woods and along the creek. The lake was beautiful. Inside the cabin was perfect. So cozy and yet spacious. Games provided, DVD’s, a jet tub, just wonderful. We definitely want to come back. Hated leaving. Jeanette was a perfect host!! Very friendly and helpful. Even with my small questions she responded right away. This was a great getaway for a great price. And plenty of antique shops and restaurants nearby.

I definitely would recommend staying here and definitely will stay here again. Truly wonderful home and amazing host.

I’ve stayed at Jacob’s Airbnb before. I feel safe and comfortable. It’s clean, quiet, and as described. The personal touches with the fireplace and art make it feel unique, not sterile and lacking in charm. The awesome jetted sauna/shower/tub is a welcome HOMERUN after a long night out! Thank you. We’ll be back!!

Angel is the definition of “Super Host”. This may be my all-time favorite ABB! She is helpful, great communicator and so friendly. Her place is absolutely amazing! Hope to return soon!
