Vacation rentals with a fire pit in River Tamar

It is a wonderful place to stay, especially if you have dogs. The fully fenced, secure yard is perfect for them. Annie even left some quality dog treats for our arrival. We had such a lovely and relaxing time. We very much look forward to returning.

Nice home with plenty of space on big land, access to the key lock with a pic on the email was helpful, you just need to open up from the backdoor when grabbing the key from the lock because front security door kept doesn't fit the lock, good stopping point being in transit after getting off the ferry, even if you want to stay for a couple of nights around Devonport then it's a very family friendly three bedroom clean home with easy actto park in the driveway.

Carolyn's cottage is well appointed with everything you need plus added extras to make the stay comfortable. Loved the verandah & view to river. This is a home away from home & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You do need to be a little self sufficient & require a car to see the sights as it's a quiet but very friendly spot. Thank-you.

This place is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend staying here. Beautiful courtyard, with amazing views of the bay while sitting around the fire pot. Inside the house is amazing. It’s so clean, very well laid out and the bed is soooo comfy. Loved waking up, opening the automatic blinds to looking out over the bay. I would definitely come back and stay here again. 10/10

This place is amazing!! We loved our 3 night stay and didn’t want to leave. So many positives. The exterior and interior of the property is absolutely beautiful. The decor is superb with so many extra touches. Extremely comfortable and just an amazing place to stay. Cannot wait for our next visit.

Grace's home is beautiful. It's well equipped with 3 full bathrooms and the beds are super comfy. I stayed the night before our wedding with my bridesmaids and got ready at the home - is couldn't have asked for a better location for this!

Great location in a peaceful street. Only 5 minutes drive to the CBD to pubs and restaurants. Very comfortable apartment that I would recommend to others.

We loved our stay at Judy and Catherine's place. Lovely little place in a prime location, spotlessly clean and very cosy. Communication was great, quick and efficient with lots of tips for local entertainment and eating out. We also loved the beautifully kept garden! Thoroughly recommend staying there, Judy and Catherine are excellent hosts!

We had a wonderful stay at Rob's place in Newstead. Was well located, with all the comforts of home. We loved the extra little touches and treats which were appreciated. Recommended to stay here, and when next in Launceston, we'll come back!

Very peaceful and relaxing place. Remote and simple accommodation where you can chill out by the creek. Thomas was a great host, easy to communicate and chocolate/wine waiting for us at arrival.

Absolutely amazing place. All the details were so well thought. We loved the veggie garden packed with berries; the hot tub was amazing with a great view; the house was very cosy. We just loved it. What an amazing way of starting our long over due holidays.

Susie and Gordon provided an incredible space for my partner and I. Beautiful location, beautiful home! Our stay was amazing…and the outdoor bath, the king size bed overlooking the rolling hills and the sour dough bread included, brilliant! Would stay again in a heartbeat 🙏🏼

We had a lovely stay here with lots of space for the kids to run and roam, something we don’t have back home. But more significant to us was the personal touch. Pat came down to deliver eggs and milk and the next night, offered to light up the bonfire. Kids had fun learning how to do so. After which, he offered the kids a ride to see pademelons in the estate. They were so thrilled to see some. It’s the personal touch that means a lot to us. Of course, the space itself is lovely. It’s an hour half drive to cradle mountain but hospitality, privateness, calmness of the place more than make up for it!

Thanks to Stuart and Lucinda for the warm welcome. Loved the loads of fresh organic vegetables from their garden and flowers throughout the cabin. Peaceful surroundings, with only tall trees and native birds to keep you company.
