Shepherds hut vacation rentals in River Dyfi

We loved our stay! Teresa is really quick to respond and both Teresa and Matt we incredibly helpful. We were stuck in the snow on the way and Matt came to our rescue. We were a bit snowed in for our stay so can't say much about local pubs and attractions but we went on so many lovely walks! The area is stunning and we loved seeing all the farm animals on our walks. The hot tub was perfect, we even used the firepit and BBQ making our evenings in the snow very cosy. The eggs and snacks in the welcome basket we unexpected and absolutely delicious. Plenty of towels, extra blankets and bedding, and everywhere was really clean. The only downside is that the sofa isn't very comfortable so if you're like us and like to cosy up and watch a film at night you can't really do that. The wall at the end of the bed would be perfect for a projector though so will be bringing one with us next time we visit. Everything else was perfect and we will definitely be back, was a wonderful honeymoon!

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

I have stayed at Gilwern several times, and as with each previous occasion I found Emma had made a huge effort to ensure the accommodation was very comfortable and well presented. I love the views, the peace and quiet, and always enjoy trying to find a fossil in the quarry. I will hope for another return trip in a year or two.

Amazing place! Unbelievable amount of effort has gone into the craftsmanship of the huts and the whole area of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodlands. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!

This was the second time we stayed at Sioned’s place as we loved it so much the first time. The place is spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. Sioned was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and even kindly allowed us to check out a little later as it was New Year’s Day. The location is also perfect—close to everything we needed yet peaceful for a relaxing stay. The bed was super comfortable, and all amenities were well-stocked, making it feel like a home away from home. I highly recommend this Airbnb and will definitely be back!

Was a beautiful Place! And would love to stay again soon! Jackie and Stewart were lovely and o helpful! Was greeted straight away and felt at home instantly. The cake,eggs,bread and Names on the information package was a lovely touch and very thoughtful. Enjoyed every minute of our stay! Thank you very much😁

Fantastic little stay! A little challenge to find but we did have a lot of fog and it was quite dark when we arrived! What an amazing location - beautiful and the animals made our stay. We absolutely loved the goats who were right outside our hut. They were so friendly! Hut, though small, was fully furnished with everything we needed to relax and also cook/have s lovely morning roll and coffee. The hot water could be a little intermittent but didn’t hugely impact our stay. Not far from Llangollen where we spent a beautiful day and a lovely chip shop and cafe locally in Corwen. Stunning hut with amazing views right on the door step. Very homely and well finished, wasn't expecting such comfort. Host was very friendly and recommended the pub in the village, even offering a lift, pub was so good we went twice. Only thing to be wary of is the uneven track to the hut but was manageable when going slow. Overall great stay and amazing access to the local area

Wow! What an amazing stay we had in the Shepherds Hut. Tiffany and Shaun were the most welcoming of hosts. They were so warm,helpful and friendly. The grounds of their home are absolutely stunning and they showed us around everywhere including the fabulous bbq area and Tiffany’s wonderful allotment. ( We were very kindly given some home grown beetroot to bring back!) The hut was cosy and felt private. Very well equipped, super clean and a comfy bed. There was even a birthday card waiting for my partner and Tiffany had offered to get any provisions in that we may need. Shaun and Tiffany are the perfect hosts. They also recommended a beautiful nearby walk to us and let us leave our car there after we had checked out, to go on the walk. We will definitely be returning (hopefully trying the tree house next time!) Thank you for a wonderful stay. 🥰

We had such a lovely stay at the Cabin! It was so peaceful and serine which was just what we needed to start off the year. The hot tub and fire are great and make the stay extra cosy. We would love to come back in the summer and spend the evening in the outdoor space.

What an absolutely amazing and adorable place to stay. We have visited a few Shepherd's huts but this one takes the trophy. Both Lou and Mark were great hosts, they greeted us upon arrival and gave a thorough walk round of amenities. The hut itself was immaculately clean and tidy. The separate Kitchen/Bathroom area was immediately next to the hut itself, so there was no 'shall I go to the toilet now, in the middle of the night, or.hold out for the morning' dilemma. The actual location itself makes it a good base for exploration. To be truthful, we were sad that we had to come home! We cant wait for our next trip/adventure there! ❤️❤️😍

We loved our stay at Shepherd’s Hut “Bluebell”! The surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. The hut itself was even more spacious than on the photos and you had everything you needed. Trish and Paul went above and beyond, making our stay absolutely perfect. Would love to come back!

We were initially unsure about staying in a Shepherd’s Hut, but any doubts vanished as soon as we arrived. This charming hut is nestled within its own gated compound, offering complete privacy and a secure space for our dog to roam freely without worry. A log fired hot tub is outside, which was lit prior to arrival so that it was already warm. Inside the hut had everything we could want, including a functional kitchen, good bathroom with decent shower and instant hot water. There were also plenty of plug points, a very comfortable bed and despite being sub-zero outside it was toasty warm thanks to under-floor heating. The views over the valley were breathtaking, creating a peaceful and idyllic atmosphere. With so much to explore in the surrounding area, we’re already planning our return visit. This Shepherd’s Hut is a hidden gem that we wholeheartedly recommend!

Myself and my partner absolutely loved our stay in the Shepherds Hut last weekend. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect — we loved the homemade cookies and they even put some balloons and a banner up for my partner’s birthday. We could not have asked for anything more from our stay and will definitely be back. 100% recommend!

We don’t quite have the words to say how much we enjoyed staying at this magical spot. Simply put, it was perfect for us. Beautiful location, so peaceful, gorgeous hut and bathroom/shower. We loved meeting Ruth, she was so friendly and wonderful. Can’t wait to come back!

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

Extremely lovely host Beth greeted us and showed us around. Very beautiful area sunsets are gorgeous, they have a horse, chickens, and very cute dog around as well. Hot tub was well worth it Beth and Mark showed us how to heat it up!

Highly highly recommend this beautiful Shepard’s hut on a working farm. The views are stunning and the hut is warm and cosy with everything you need - including an Alexa for you to listen to music. The location is brilliant - surrounded by fields and mountains. It’s on a working farm so you’re not isolated. We ran into Ken whose family has owned the farm for three generations. He was full of lots of tips and couldn’t have been friendlier. Highly recommend. We’ve already planned our next trip back.
