Wonderful place to stay! Very quiet building but still just a short walk to so many great things in Reykjavik. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved staying at this cute Airbnb! The accommodations were exactly as described. The rooftop hot tub was lovely! We were happy to discover a lot of food and drink options in the kitchen, including some which were free. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and gave great restaurant recommendations. Would definitely recommend staying here. It’s a great value.

Perfect hostel for a tight young budget (especially in this country where everything is expensive) Unbeatable value for money. Great welcome 24/7. High school locker available to drop off your belongings (take your own padlock to avoid buying one from them) The restaurant and bar are under construction (for a few more months) which is a shame because the exchanges and meetings/discussions are mostly close to the rooms and in the kitchen, which can make a lot of people in the same place and a lot of noise especially in late hours. They offer essential (free) boul quies of course. Well located hostel within a 10min walk, you can explore a good part of the city, at least the most interesting neighborhoods. Thanks to the hosts for their advice (a storm occurred during my stay, delaying my flight by a day) weather and directions during this exceptional situation.

I loved this hostel, affordable and beautiful! My check in was after a tour I had and they gave me the chance to come earlier so I wouldn't loose my luggage. They are very kind and understanding. Next time I come, this will 100% be the place I stay at and will recommend it to anyone who tells me will come to Iceland. Rooms are beautiful and clean, kitchen is very pretty and has all the utensils you need, next to their cafe where you can eat! The showers are THE BEST SHOWERS EVER. Its close to the shore where you can walk looking at the sea! Thank you for all the help, will be coming back!

The house is very nicely located and clean. Although there are many rooms and guests, there is no problem using the bathroom or showers as there is a sink and two bathrooms. Whenever I needed to use them they were available For check-in you have to pick up the keys in a lockbox, which is very good because you can check in whenever you want and without disturbing anyone. The only downside was to stay with us while they renovate the house as the noise was annoying and there were workers around. As for everything else, everything has been going well. I would repeat

Johann's place suited my needs. Located in downtown Reykjavik, clean, and good value for money if you're on a budget. Its self catering with basic cooking facilities, access to a refrigerator and storage for food. There is a Bonus supermarket 5 minutes walk away.

The place was so convenient particularly in terms of location and the kitchen facilities! The room was particularly cosy during the bad weather. We really enjoyed staying here and it was always spotless! Instructions were really clear and it was easy to find. Jóhann even checked in that we were ok when there was a red weather warning!
