🪴Brand new Beautiful & Tidy Apartment in RVK..♡♡♡

현석Rating, 5 stars19 months ago
It is away from the city center of Reykjavik, but it is worth getting around. It's a spacious accommodation, so there's plenty of space to organize your luggage, so I think it'll be especially good on the first and second days of the trip. I recommend this place rather than a smaller place with a similar price in the city center. Even though it was late, we were able to check in comfortably thanks to the host who responded quickly. Thank you. I will use it again the next time I come to Iceland. If you don't have a single grocery store, it's scary to see Bame.

Bedroom in a shared apartment with an amazing view

GladysRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is one of the most beautiful airbnb I’ve ever been to. Everything was just perfect. Very easy to check in. The house is decorated very nicely. I love the plants. The house is very close to Reykjavik city centre. Just approximately 20mins drive. And just 30 mins to the international airport. The host even helped me to mail my postcards! They are so friendly and kind. Highly recommend this airbnb to everyone. Really want to comeback again.

A charming Scandinavian home, centrally located.

Had an amazing time staying Pétur’s place. Plenty of space for my group of 6 adults. Location was great, right by a domestic airport that didnt seem to be used much because I never heard a plane take off or land. Location is great, within 5-7 mins driving to the downtown area. You definitely need a car but Id say that for all of Reykjavic in general. Plenty of parking, we had 2 cars. The bathroom upstairs has heated floors, which was great during the winter. For NYE it was perfect because we could see fireworks from all of the town and we got really lucky and saw the Northern Lights very clearly from his place, probably not common, but it was amazing! Magical trip, will def stay there again.

BB8 The Brown room.

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! Birgir was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, cozy, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was our Iceland story time with Birgir—his captivating stories gave us a deeper appreciation for the country and its culture. His passion for the environment was truly inspiring, motivating me to become more proactive about global warming and environmental responsibility. Birgir also recommended trying an Icelandic swimming pool, and we absolutely loved it! This was a truly memorable stay, and I can’t recommend it enough!

The Club House - Hvammsvik Hot Springs

NatashaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This is our second visit to Hvammsvik Resort. Originally we stayed here 2.5 years ago and stayed at the Hilltop house and Hvammsvik was just being built into a resort. It was beautiful, and Ive already left a review for that house back then because it was one of our favourite airbnbs that we have ever stayed in. This visit we have the luxury of staying at two different houses on the property. First we stayed in the Club House. (this one was our personal fav for this trip) but only because of what we travelled to Iceland for. The house is so cozy, but large enough for a family with children, or even two families. HUGE kitchen and dining room, cozy couch and TV area. Our second house we stayed in was the Lake House (the most stunning views) This place is a bit smaller, but just as tastefully decorated, and I cannot even describe the views in such few words. Such a magical place to wake up to, surrounded by mountains and water.

The location of this home was perfect! Beautiful surroundings, not too far from the major parks and areas, and enough space to fit our group of 7. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Iceland.
A modern dining area is featured with a sleek table surrounded by six muted chairs. Sunlight spills in through large windows, illuminating the stone floor. A side cabinet displays decorative plants and framed photographs, creating a fresh and inviting environment.

Honorable Mention

JackieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lovely place. Perfect base for travelling. Teens loved the big TVs! Always really warm after a day trip out. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels. Everything you need. Only one thing not perfect - the hot tub is not like a UK hot tub. It's a big tub you fill with hot water when you want to use it, which takes a while.

Himri the mountain villa

KimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Himri was the absolute perfect place to stay for me and my friends. We saw the Northern Lights directly above and in front of the house, loved being surrounded by mountains, and found the drive to other places in our itinerary incredibly easy. The house had everything we could possibly need for our stay, including kitchen basics and coffee. The hot tub and sauna were the perfect means of relaxing after a long day of hiking and exploring. Berglind's communication was swift, thorough, and friendly, and we even received notice directly of the evacuations that were happening to the south as a result of the volcanic eruption (we were completely safe, but the message from our host was greatly appreciated). I hope to return to Iceland in the future, and there is nowhere else I would choose to stay.
