Beautiful places , was easy to find and centrally located

Lovely little space. Felt right at home after checking in. Host was kind enough to allow us an early check-in as well since we were travelling from different parts. The rooms are nice and clean. Living space was neatly arranged and good for hanging out with friends and family. Had all the basic amenities and we did not have trouble with anything. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood, you can find activities to do within walking distance. Axis mall is located close by. Will definitely be boarding at her place again.

One of the best stays one can hope for. The host was always responsive and accommodated to our requests. The property itself has good connectivity and is easy to find and get to. The place was top-notch and very well maintained. A cozy place worth every penny. There are many great restaurants nearby as well as an attached boutique restaurant, Upland Salt. The food was also quite good. Will keep this for future bookings. Thanks for a great experience.

We had the most amazing stay at Sumona and Abhishek’s place. We had a long stay as my husband had a knee surgery in Kolkata. Sumona’s parents, Sanjay and Koli Bhattacharya, who stayed upstairs, were ever ready to help with everything. In them, I found a second family. The house has cooking facilities. Sanjayda also helped us to find options for home cooked meals delivered at home and also cooks who could come home and cook for us. We could not venture out much as my husband was resting, and undergoing physiotherapy, but we never felt lonely. Sumona’s mother, Kolidi was like an elder sister. I once fell sick during my stay. At that time, Kolidi took care of me like a mother and even brought food to my room. The house got cleaned every evening by an efficient and plesant lady, Kakoli. The place is surrounded by eateries. Rabindra Sarobar, a great place for morning walks, is just 3 minutes away. I will recommend this place, as the best choice, to anyone visiting Kolkata,

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. Beautiful place (even better than what you see in the pics). The balcony is huge and truly the highlight of the apartment. Very well equipped kitchen plus washing machine. The place was very tastefully and thoughtfully done up. The hosts had anticipated every need and question we might have and taken care of it before our arrival. Their Airbnb and WA communication was exceptional - proactive, prompt and clear. The onsite host did a walk-thru pf the apt to familiarize us with the layouts. All light, fan and appliance switches and EVERYTHING was labeled. They offered us complimentary airport pickup. The apt is very well located - on a quiet side street and a 12-15 min walk to Central Park in Salt Lake. Ubers are easily. City Center mall is 30 min walk. Host knows of a reliable cab service and a home cooked (Bengali) food delivery service. A truly wonderful experience at Somma’s place. Would highly recommend this property.

I have stayed at the place for couple of days, and I must admit house amenities were beyond expectations. I had full access to entire appartment. One room with double bed, one big hall and 2-3 balconies were available. Moreover entire appartment is very airy, you won't feel confined between walls unlike staying in a hotel rooms. House is bit away from main Street which gives you comfort of peaceful neighborhood. Host is very generous and helpful, allowed me early check-in. Overall I am very satisfied with the stay, would love to consider in future visits.

This is a lovely apartment in Dum Dum, centrally located (near to shopping and business areas), yet safe and quiet at night. The park is not far where buses connect to all of Kolkata. The apartment, on the ground floor, has two good-sized rooms: bedroom with a comfortable bed and plenty of closet and storage space (as well as extra bedding and towels). The living area has enough space for working and other activities. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cooking and table-ware, dry foods, teas, spices, etc. There's a washing machine, hot water, and housekeeper regularly available. The hosts Nandita and Rohit are kind, responsible, supportive. They checked in to meet my needs in helpful ways, e.g., by purchasing fruits and vegetables for me (when I couldn't yet find them on my own) and to offer me Indian-style foods to try. They have a beautiful family with two children. They gave me both privacy and hospitality. I enjoyed my interactions with all of them immensely.

My friend who has never been to India and I came from the USA. I have been in India several times before but this time staying in Prakriti’s place was very satisfying specially Mantu, the caretaker became my younger brother. There is a verse says ‘ you know the tree by its fruit’. Also, ‘A good tree cannot produce bad fruit’. So for me, Montu was a reflection of Prakriti’s heart. Thank you for everything. Blessings.

First of all we want to thank Asher and Lisa for receiving us in such a perfect way and for showing great hospitality. They were always prepared to help us to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Apartment is on ground floor, so very easy to reach even if you have walking disabilities like we had. It is equipped in a very thoughtful way like handle in the toilet, so you can easily get up. All necessary kitchen utilities for cooking are there. Blinkit, Swiggy, Uber and similar services work very well in the location. We were surprised that the hosts even provided a generous supply for us to make our first breakfast in the morning. All together, very easy to feel like you are at home in this apartment. We had one month's wonderful stay in Asher's and Lisa's home. We can strongly recommend it for shorter and longer stays.

Excellent place to stay. Host has done everything possible to make me feel comfortable at home. Home is very posh with a great furniture, location and all amenities. I will highly recommend this place for your travel to kolkata.

Adheesh is a fantastic host and has a wonderful place. The location was great, and within a 20-30min walk (or 5-10min) ride from most of the main places you’d want to visit in the city. As for the apartment itself, it was massive and really beautifully done - the pictures don’t do it justice. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a place while in Kolkata.

We've been using Airbnb's since it started and there's always some trepidation - before arriving at the selected on, in an unfamiliar city. Swasti's home is just the perfect find. Spacious, well maintained, in an extremely upscale neighbourhood and above all, stocked with books and playthings for our 4 year old. Swasthi herself, is an admirable host. From stocking up the house with tons of goodies - to adding a personal touch by briniging additional toys & gifts for our daughter, she was extremely friendly and delightful. Highly recommended and we will surely love to stay again - considering we'll be visiting Kolkata a bit more, this year.
